WAR?

An hour later…

Rain and I are now rushing towards the hill of the heavenly tree on his black horse. I saw my prince was silent all this time and did not speak a word. I don't know what he was thinking, but it seems he was thinking about the king's words.

The king admitted to being very ashamed and guilty. He asked for forgiveness for what his wife had done to me, which surprised me a little. The king said he couldn't possibly punish his wife, so he knelt as a ransom for his wife's guilt. This surprised me; this was the first time a great king kneeled to a village girl like me.

I didn't expect the king to do that to make amends for his wife. For me, the universe is enough to repay what the queen did to me. The disease that befell this queen hopefully can wake her up. I didn't expect much, and I wanted the queen to accept me in the palace.
