Chapter Fifty: The Devious Plan

Aurora, sat alone in her room, staring up at the ceiling as she layed in bed. She knew that things were coming into place, and that she would receive all that she had ever wanted soon enough. The alliance would soon bring the Kingdoms together and she would be on the precipice of power unlike anyone in the Underworld could have ever known. By uniting the Kingdoms together, she would be able to have the perfect child someday, that would bring her even more power. However, despite the fact that her plan was coming to fruition, she still sought to have Penny as an ally.

She could sense from the beginning that Penny was different and that it would be better to have her on her side rather than against her. However, this was something that was far more difficult to achieve than she anticipated. Even going to the lengths to have her maiden try to cause chaos between Penny and Ember. " She is going to betray me" Aurora thought to herself. She knew that in the end, Raven could not be trusted. And even then, her bindings would inevitably be broken and she would become rebellious. Though, Aurora had a plan to counter anything that would be attempted to ruin her own plans.

" They will never learn" Aurora smirked to herself as she rolled over, getting herself more comfortable.

As she layed on her bed, Aurora heard a knock upon her door and as the door opened, she was confronted with the sight of her vampiric lover peaking his head into the room. " You are not suppose to be in here" Aurora climbed out of her bed and rushed over to the door to allow him inside the room before closing the door quickly.

" I had to see you again. I know the risk but you are worth it" he smiles and takes Aurora into his arms.

" I have missed you dearly but, things are chaotic here in the castle at the moment. My hand maiden has run off and with the alliance approaching, we have to be careful at least until after the wedding" Aurora smiles, khalivare seeming to dismiss the concerns though. " Your maiden? Then just get a new one! " He suggested.

" No, this one is important but that..it doesn't matter right now" Aurora leaned forward and kissed Khalivare softly. " I am glad you are here. I was hoping you could do something for me" Aurora smiled, Khalivare had always believed his beloved to be inoccent and fair and had no inclination of how devious she truly was. And so, with a confident tone he asked " What is it that you request my love?
