" Did you do as I asked? " Aurora turned to Khalivare who had just entered the room, sneaking in this time, from the window that Aurora had purposely left open.
" I did as you asked. And just as you said, they retrieved her" Khalivare seemed to be uncomfortable with the job he had been given by his beloved. Deep down, he was never going to be the kind of person that would want to stoop to such measures, despite how his family will show no hesitation for such actions.
" Good, this is just what I wanted" Aurora smiled, knowing she had once again, been correct about the predictability of others. The biggest accomplishment from this capture, came not from the capture itself, but the trauma that had been provided to Ember through the use of that horrible room.
" I really do hope that they try to fix her" Aurora added as she relaxed herself on the bed and motioned for Khalivare to join her, who seemed all to eager to lay with her.
" I am surprised you wanted for such a tactic to be used. I'm sure that it is wise but, was it perhaps to much? " Khalivare tried to ask, not wanting to show any lack of confidence in Auroras judgement.
" What do you mean? " Aurora questioned, having not expected such words to leave her lovers lips.
After clearing his throat, Khalivare proceeded to answer" I am just saying that I don't feel as though it was necessary. I mean, she is just a human and even if the goal is to create chaos amongst them, I feel as though there would have been better ways of achieving this"
He tried to keep his voice calm and soothing as possible so that he didn't provoke Aurora. Though instead of anger being shown, there was laughter and amusement expressed from Aurora.
" The goal is not about chaos. The goal is to get them to divide so that I may isolate Penny for myself. But, if I did that by more direct means, she would instead resent me. However, if the human rejects her and chooses to push her away, then Penny has nowhere left to turn" Aurora explains though Khalivare still did not seem convinced.
" Well what about the chamber maid you spoke of? She is a Witch is she not? She is helping them and she could give away some of your secrets that could aid them. She would be a trump card for them? " Khalivare was trying to think of every possibility to poke holes in the plan of Aurora. He didn't want to see his love fail, but he also was surprised by her approach to things.
" Raven is nothing. She is bound by magic and even if she found a way to unbind, it wouldn't matter. I have a plan for that as well. Not to mention, she is banned from ever returned to the Kingdom and will be executed on sight. She is a traitor" Aurora laughed wildly. " And not to mention, she knows practically nothing about me or the depths I would go to see my goals achieved. She knows only what I have allowed her to know. She is not as advanced as she thinks and she will be weaker than our child, I can assure you of that" Aurora turns to Khalivare and kisses him softly. He kisses her back though now in deep thought about the possibility of having children with Aurora.
" I would love nothing more than to have an amazing child with you. And I do hope our child becomes the strongest in all of the worlds, so that maybe, she will achieve the things we cannot" Khalivare's mind dances around the possibilities of what the child would be like and what the name would be. " We are limitless, and by us, she shall also be" Aurora smiled again.
" She?" Khalivare asked, shocked by Auroras assumption that it would be a daughter. " Yes, it has ti be a daughter. I've promised her to the Future Lycan Prince" Aurora kisses Khalivare softly again before rising up from her bed. " This will keep peace between the Kingdoms but she will never truly love such primitive creatures. When the time is right, she will take the throne with the Prince and she will end his life as soon as the situation allows. Once he is dead, she will rule the Lycan Kingdom and do as we ask " Aurora explained. Khalivare was even more shocked by the sheer amount of control that Aurora wanted. To control their future child, like a puppet? That felt horribly wrong to Khalivare and yet he said nothing. " If you believe that is what should be done then I stand with you, my love" Khalivare finally answered, though he was beginning to have many doubts about the relationship with Aurora who almost seemed to sense his reservations as she turned back to him.
" Do not worry, I am going to love her. But the Underworld is a mess and something has to be done about it. And considering Noone else has done anything except fight, I am going to handle things differently. I am going to ensure the safety and peace of the Underworld no matter what the cost may be" Aurora placed her hand onto Khalivare's who struggled to smile. " I know that it seems wrong but you have to trust me, this is going to be for the best in the long run. And I would never let anything happen to our daughter, under any circumstances. And I know that you will protect her just as much as me. You're an amazing person with a huge heart, it's one of the many reasons I love you. And just as I would do anything for her, I would do anything for you" Aurora leans forward to kiss Khalivare just as a knock on the door of Auroras room interrupted her.
" Who is it? " Aurora asked, as she motioned for Khalivare to head out of the window so that he wouldn't be spotted. " It is your father, I wish to speak with you" The King answered as Khalivare dissapeared into the night.
" Just a minute.." Aurora said as she rose out of bed and walked over to the door, opening it just to have her father barge into the room. He seemed both excited and frustrated judging from what Aurora could tell.
" What is wrong? " Aurora asked, softly, glancing over at the window to make sure Khalivare was truly gone. " I just spoke with the Lycans and they have agreed to the terms. However, they also asked for supplies" The King answered.
" So give them supplies? " Aurora scoffed, not understanding why this could possibly be a reason to interupt her night with her lover.
" We don't have the amount they are demanding. If we gave them all we had, It still would not be enough. Their Kingdom is far more vast than ours. I know that agreeing to the demand was never going to be a good idea, but I did so anyway. Given how much is at stake with our peoples feelings on the Lycans" her father had posed a great issue for them. This had been Auroras idea and now they would need to come up with enough supplies to satisfy the Lycans until the children were born.
" I will figure something out, I promise" Aurora assured her father who did not seem all too confident in her ability to do so. " How could you possibly fix this? " The King demanded an answer that Aurora, at this time, simply did not have.
" I will figure something out, I promise. Just give me some time" Aurora assured again. The King informed her that they would have three days until they met again to rediscuss the terms and that would mean she would need a solution in that short time. Things were going to be far more complicated before they ever get easier for Aurora.
