Aurora Had made a promise that she would deliver supplies to the Lycan Kingdom and she would have to do whatever it took to make sure the promise was followed through with.
It was Aurora who believed that she knew what was best for the Kingdom and it was Aurora who believed that certain actions would have to be taken if there was to be peace within the lands. And now, she had to find a way to ensure that everything went according to her plan as smoothly as possible.
Aurora made her way down the long hallway to the dining hall from her room and then proceeded to head to the guard housing, which was to West Of the Dining Hall.
Once there, she met with one of the Guard Captains who seemed rather new to her.
" And who are you..? " Aurora asked, a look of curiosity and authority conflicted upon her face.
" I am Theos Attabarner, newly appointed Captain of the 52nd regime of - " Aurora interupted Theos with a rather disintered eye roll and sigh " Listen, I need you to send guards to this location here " Aurora pulled out a map from her dress and handed it to Theos who opened the map and noticed the small circle drawn on a crossroad not far away from the Kingdom.
" Why.."? Theos questioned as though he believed he had a right to question the Royal family which displayed his ignorance in the face of Aurora.
" I need you to go there because there will be a shipment of goods coming through to the Kingdom. I need you to intercept it and deliver it to the Lycans" Aurora commanded Theos who stood and stared in shock.
" What you are asking me to do..its..it's treason" He argued. He knew that if the King were to discover this, it would surely either lead to his execution or him being exhiled.
" I didn't ask for your feelings on this matter. I told you what I wanted you to do. If you don't want it traced back to you, then I recommend you find a way to be..." Aurora paused for a moment before continuing " Covert"
Theos disagreed with this order but still did as Aurora commanded, knowing full well the consequences for this action. " And if you should get caught.." Aurora stopped Theos in his tracks as he was about to leave the room " Then you didn't hear any of this from me. You acted of your own accord" Aurora smirked.
" You will have me killed wether this plan works or not " Theos barked to which Aurora replied with a smile " Like I said, you won't be caught..if you do this properly. The Lycans need supplies for the treaty to be upheld. But father won't allow for the supplies to be delivered because he is a fool. And thus, I'm making the correct decision for him" Aurora smiled and then dismissed Theos with a small hand waving gesture.
" And if father should find out about this.." Aurora looked around strongly musk scented room " I imagine that there will be hell to pay on all sides.." Aurora stared into nothingness as she pondered the implications of what she was doing.
Theos Arrived at the location on time, Noticing several wagons full of supplies that would probably last abound 5 to 6 months in his estimation. These were irritant valuable supplies that would help the kingdom immensely and yet Aurora wanted these diverted. He partially understood why but also felt as though this would be a grave mistake. Nevertheless, He instructed the drivers to divert the supplies to the Lycan kingdom.
" But these supplies are for - " one driver questioned to which Theos nodded in agreement with how foolish the decision was. " We won't survive for very long without the supplies but the Lycans won't survive the next few days without these. They need these supplies more" Theos sighed.
" This is all because of that stupid treaty isn't it? " one driver blurted out which Theos knew to be true. " It would seem that way" Theos then made a realization. If these drivers had been out, traversing the roads to deliver the supplies, then there way no way they could have possibly know about the treaty yet as they had not been there to hear the Kings speech. " How did- " And with that, Theos was attacked by 3 Lycans who launched themselves at him, mauling him where he stood.
" Sheeba..we must move if we are to strike the Kingdom" One Lycan called out to the first driver who was now dripping blood from his thick orange coat of fur.
" Are the others in position? " another Lycan asked to which Sheeba replied " Yes..the Witches have no idea what war they've brought to their doorstep" and with that, the Lycans got back upon their wagons, transforming back into their human- like forms and traversed the path to the Witches Kingdom.
There was to be an ambush. A war of which the Witches had never seen. And Noone, would see it coming.
