My legs were still trembling, and my body was still feeling pretty sore because of the intense training the nanomachine put my body through while I was still recovering to keep my body in peak performance status. It was pretty comfortable at times because that way we could avoid doing weight lifting.
My neck was hurting all over, so I grabbed the nearest chair and placed it in front of Kevin's pod and collapsed over it, with my head resting over the backrest because the muscles felt too weak and hurt too much if I stood upright.
Kevin was the one who took most of the high-quality fluids; he needed a change of fluid every couple of hours, and sometimes I could see his hand twitch. The machines were cruel enough to sometimes stop his heart during particular procedures when they had to cut him and either fix his bones back into their place or remove some of his organs, replacing them with cloned ones.
