"Now what is this, a hybrid?" Amber spoke being suprised ..

"I don't know" Nora replied almost trembling

The weird monster then roared loudly at the three of them. Its smaller goblin hands or well arms all shook with the sheer volume of the noise. Yet there was something else in its eyes as they all careful looked at it. Intelligence... An intelligent monster especially a monster like this was dangerous. Extremely dangerous, the group instantly all looked at Nora who had more or less dragged them all here.

Though as she looked back at them, all they could see was fear in her eyes. She did not know what to do, hell none of them knew what to do!

Nora not seeing any help coming to her from the shocked Zia and the even more shocked Amber, scrapped her feet on the floor as she made some distance between her and the hybrid monster. It had stopped roaring for now but its eyes were watching them all carefully, it was as if it was assessing them and waiting to see if the trio had anything that they could use to harm the itself or not, though there stunned and shocked faces were making it confused. After all it had not seen monsters like them before and everyone in the caves all knew that it was here, and coming here meant death.

Surly they came here for a reason, right?

Unbeknownst to the trio there shocked and stiff bodies had made the monster hesitate in jumping on them, thus saving their lives, at least for now.

Amber mumbled to the other two, "So what do we do? How do we even fight this thing?" Her eyes though never left the monster as if the moment she did, it would pounce onto them and rip them all to shreds. Zia didn't say anything , but her eyes were almost glowing brightly with fighting intent. Her hand was clasped tightly onto the necklace and its gem, the one she had been given. Her grip had made her knuckles white; she was just holding it that tight!

Nora looked sideways slightly, so that she could see the faces of Amber and Zia, after all she was the one who had caused though as she was about to suggest that they all should run away and hope that it would not catch up to them, she saw the fighting spirit that was in the eyes of Zia. For some reason this just made her pause and hesitate.

Then just as the monster was going to move forwards, Zia acted!

In front of her a spear of earth suddenly rose up from the ground and fired itself fiercely straight towards the monster. Who which froze for a while and then its troll like legs propelled itself to the sides, dodging most of the attack. Though its groaning voice soon brought the trio's attention to the nasty scrap on the right side of its chest, it had not dodged that quickly it seems.

That was all that it took for the battle to truly begin, with another roar even louder than the last. The monster darted forwards amid the shakings of the cave. Its strong legs quickly allowed it to close the gap that they had made. Zia though yet again was the only one who responded, the other two still being to shocked to do a thing.

This time she made a few spears of ice appear and almost in the exact moment, fired them off at the monster. This was nearly at point blank range to!

The ice spears made a loud whistling noise as the cut through the air. Yet of the three only one managed to stab into the monster's squishy flesh. It roared in pain and then to the sheer horror of the trio ripped the spear out of its chest, and held it as if it was a weapon to use.

The monster then attacked them all, swinging its new found weapon all of the place, this did at least though cause Amber and Nora to finally spring into action as well, the two of them darted to the sides and they almost formed a triangle with the monster being in the centre. Their intention was clear and no one really needed to say anything at all.

The monster looked at them all warily, it knew what Zia could do and if the other two could do what she could, this would definitely be painful for it although it would not be the end.

Then the barrage commenced. Zia kept at it with the ice spears sending one after the other hurtling at the monster. Amber used wind magic, the wind blades she imagined constantly slashing through the air with the noise of thunder as they raced forwards to cut apart the beast and finally Nora used the earth spikes or well earth spears like Zia had used at first. There attacks were all at the monster who only wanted to cry at this point.

It was nearly there and yet now it was about to be brutally killed...would even any of its body be left after this point.

Boom!

Crash!

"ROARRRR!" The monster's roars were all that they could hear as their barrage of attacks had well created a massive cloud of dust blocking all of their views from the monster. Soon enough its roars faded and they all showed a relived expression.

"Is it over?" The words of Nora and Amber echoed around the room with Zia being unable to say anything but still she agreed with the words of the other two with a nod of her head.

They all stayed perfectly still as they watched the cloud of dust slowly fall to the ground and settle once more. Happily, they found that the monster was no longer standing or moving. Just lying there on the floor. Nora seeing this, screamed happily. "We did it!" Then she rushed over to Amber to try and give her a hug, her previous façade gone in an instant.

Zia to was happy and slowly began to walk over to the two of them, and it was now that she heard something. Turning around rapidly she saw the monster stand up, its gaping wounds healing themself at a rate visible to the naked eye.

She could only feel disgusted and suddenly a massive ball of fire, roared into life in front of her. The monster could only look on helplessly as it was unable to move while it was healing itself. Without a word, like the silent grim reaper, Zia pushed the fireball forwards.

The monster, only looked on terrified as it was engulfed in the flame. The trio only watched with grim faces as its roars truly ended this time. No one knew what to say...Zia had turned the monster into a pile of ash. It was just ruthless, though a little cool as well.

They saw a small shining of the magic stone inbetween the ashes ..

"Oh the stone" Nora said and picked it up ..

blowed the dust of the ashes away and kept it in her bag ..
