Your Enemies are My Enemies (II)...

"You could count Souichiro Takagi…" Kemono muttered with an unsure look on her face and after a couple of seconds, a dark look appeared on her face. "Ah, I forgot about those fucking insects" Kemono growled menacingly and flames erupted from her hands. Daichi simply raised his brows with a questioning look on his face. He had rarely seen his mom react like this…

"Calm down, mom. I can't have you setting fire on everything" Daichi said with a chuckle and Kemono quickly realized that her son was right and the flames disappeared into thin air.

Kemono gave Daichi an apologetic look. "Ah… sorry" Kemono apologized as she shook her head.

"Daichi-kun, I am done" Kyoko called out when she was finally done absorbing Mana from the Stone. She returned the Mana Stone to Daichi with a grateful look on her face and Daichi returned the Mana Stone to Bella for safe keeping. Daichi wanted to check Kyoko's, Roberta's, and his mom's improved stats, but before that, he needed to learn why his mom was so angry at these people.

"So… What did these people do to earn your ire?" Daichi asked curiously. It must have been something serious for his mom to react in such a manner.

Kemono took a deep breath and plopped down on the bed, Kyoko and Bella helped with the chairs. After everyone was seated, Kemono finally decided to speak up. "From what I have learned, it is a secretive assassins group called the Black Label. I don't know the identities of the attackers, but I do know who was backing them. The Chairman of the Mochizuki General Hospital is the man behind the creation of this Black Label group. I don't know his reasons or anything though" Kemono explained and Daichi nodded his head in understanding.

Even though Daichi looked completely calm on the outside, he was seething in anger on the inside. From the description, Daichi realized that this Black Label organization is an extremist vigilante group. They would assassinate anyone if they think that the said person is a threat to their society. Daichi didn't need to be a genius to realize that this Black Label group had tried to assassinate his mom and that was something completely unacceptable for Daichi…

Daichi knew that his mom was not a good person, but that did not mean that he was going to side with the Black Label and then brand his mom as a criminal. To be honest, Daichi did not care if his mom was good or bad, but since the Black Label had tried to assassinate his mom, he was going to destroy Black Label. Not a single person would be spared of his wrath. There was no right or wrong, it was only a matter of perspective…

Everyone is a Hero in their own story, and everyone is a villain in someone's story. The Black Label might have been Heroes in the stories of a lot of people, but by trying to kill him mom, they have become a villain in his story. Kemono revealed that the chairman of the Mochizuki General Hospital was also the founder of the Black Label. Daichi knew that he could find some clues in the said hospital and there was also a chance that the hospital was the base of the Black Label organization.

Now that he thought about it, there was a good chance that the hospital was also the base of the Black Label organization. After all, the Black Lebel was a group of assassins no matter how they want to paint themselves as Heroes. They were bound to get injured, so if the hospital was also their base then they would be able to get easy medical treatments. Now, Daichi did not know if he was right or wrong, but he decided to inspect the hospital as soon as possible.

"I see… so, did you find anything else about them?" Daichi asked with a contemplative look on his face.

Kemono shook her head in denial. "I tracked down to the Mochizuki General Hospital before the trail went cold and I was told by the Government to back up… I was this close to finding them. I would have ripped them apart with my bare hands if I found them" Kemono growled with a desperate glint in her eyes.

"So, this Black Label works with the Government?" Daichi asked curiously and Kemono simply shook her head in denial.

"No, as much as I know, they are not a part of the Government, but they do have some connections or Mochizuki Masamune wouldn't have been able to call off the investigations… We knew we were this close when all the investigations were called off" Kemono snarled in anger. Daichi could understand his mom's frustration at the whole ordeal, if he was in his mom's shoes, then he would be feeling the same too.

"So, is there a chance that they are going to attack us?" Daichi asked and Kemono simply shrugged.

"I don't know… They might be busy saving their own asses, or they could be biding their time" Kemono answered dismissively and Daichi nodded his head in understanding.

"Milord, then we should attack them before they could make a move. They have already attacked Bella's mother-in-law, which itself is a crime punishable by torture to death" Bella said eagerly with an excited glint in her eyes. Daichi gaped at Bella, and Kemono burst out laughing after hearing Bella's words.

"I like you, Bella. You have my blessings" Kemono laughed boisterously and Daichi simply released a tired sigh as he shook his head. Daichi cleared his head to get his mom's attention. When Kemono finally turned toward her son, he gestured toward everyone in the room. Everyone present in the room including Kemono had an intimate relationship with Daichi and it wasn't fair if his mom only gave blessings to Bella.

Kemono realized what Daichi was trying to tell her through his eyes. "Ah…" Kemono nodded her head in understanding and then she looked around at everyone. "Well, all of you have my blessings. Even you Kyoko, I know you love him so are fine with me" Kemono said with a grin. She especially pointed out Kyoko since the bespectacled woman looked saddened and when Kemono specifically pointed her out, a bright smile appeared on Kyoko's face.

"I am blessed" Daichi commented dryly, but everyone could easily notice the happiness in his voice. "Coming back to the original topic, I believe Bella is right. It would be better if we attack them first before they could attack us" Daichi added and Bella eagerly nodded her head as she cheerfully clapped her hands. After all, murder and torture were her favorite hobbies.

"Daichi… I am really happy that you want to attack them for my sake, but I don't think now is the right time" Kemono quickly poured cold water on his plans. Bella immediately started to sulk while pouting.

"I know that too, I wasn't planning to attack them right now. We don't even have a stable base" Daichi sighed and Kemono nodded her head in satisfaction.

"Is this really necessary?" Kyoko asked nervously and Daichi simply nodded his head.

"It might sound excessive, but people like them will come after mom again. They won't give up as long as my mom is breathing" Daichi answered with a serious look on his face.

"Yes, Daichi-kun is right" Saeko also agreed with Daichi. "So, what are you planning tonight?" Saeko asked curiously.

"We are going to help Chiba with her revenge" Daichi revealed. He decided not to reveal the fact that he was planning to kill them either way and Kyoko was also present. Kyoko wasn't like Roberta, Bella, Saeko, or his mom so he did not know if she would understand or not. "By the way, Bella, do you have any Spells that could manipulate memories?" Daichi asked and Bella tilted her head in confusion.

"Manipulate memories? Milord, do you want to remove memories or manipulate memories?" Bella asked in a cute baby voice.

"Removing memories" Daichi answered without missing a beat.

"Bella does have a Spell that could remove memories" Bella admitted and Daichi grinned in satisfaction. For now, he decided not to reveal his full plan for the night. Once again, Kyoko did not know what Kemono had done inside the shopping mall so he decided not to reveal the details. Daichi knew that if Kyoko decided to stay with him in the future then she would need to know and handle these types of things. Well, by that time, her mentality would have changed too…

"Mom, do you have any more enemies?" Daichi asked and after thinking for a couple of minutes, she shook her head in denial.

"I do have enemies, but none of them would be able to reach me in the current condition of the world and I don't think any of my enemies would be able to recognize you as my son" Kemono revealed and Daichi nodded his head in understanding.

"I see… Now, that everything serious is taken care of, I want to take a bath" Daichi said as he slowly stood up from his seat.

"Ah... Are you not going to invite us?" Kemono asked with a naughty grin on her face. Bella cheered loudly while Kyoko and Saeko blushed, leaving Roberta, who was completely stoic.

Daichi grinned slyly as he turned toward his mom. "Who am I to stop all of you" as soon as Daichi finished, he entered the bathroom and all the girls rushed behind him without complaining…
