"Which one do you prefer?" Daichi asked Roberta even though he wasn't expecting an answer from her. Roberta simply inclined her head with a befuddled look on her face.

"The one you prefer is going to be my preference too" Roberta declared like it was the most obvious thing to do. Daichi almost palmed his face in frustration.

"I see…" Daichi muttered as he glanced toward the Shadow Assassin Job option. He did not know what being a Shadow Assassin entailed, but he could guess that it must be something special. So, he decided to recommend the Shadow Assassin Job.

"What do you think about the Shadow Assassin?" Daichi asked and Roberta bit her lower lip as she scrunched her face in concentration. Right now, Roberta looked extremely cute, instead of a bloody psychopath. Well, Daichi didn't care that Roberta was also a bloodthirsty psychopath, instead, he thought that it made her hotter.

After reading the job requirements, Roberta stared at Daichi for a moment, and then a bright smile appeared on her face. The two of them finally separated from each other after nearly a minute. Daichi looked around at the others. "For now, the Mana Stone is a secret to everyone outside this room" Daichi said and everyone, including Kyoko, understood what Daichi was trying to say.

So, all the women in the room nodded their heads in understanding with varying looks on their faces. Kyoko was different from the other women, so she still did not understand why Daichi wanted to keep the Mana Stone a secret, but since Daichi had asked her to keep it a secret, she was going to keep it a secret. Daichi nodded his head in satisfaction and he decided that it was about time that he had a chat with Tawata Mika and Tawata Jiro. He wanted to nurture the two of them…

"Well, there is something I need to do, so I will be excusing myself…" Daichi said as he started to make his way toward the door…

"Milord, can I come along?" Bella asked in an excited tone. After contemplating for a bit, Daichi gave her a nod and Bella jumped with one of her fists raised in the air. Sometimes, Bella could be such a child… an extremely dangerous child.

"Is it going to be something important or battle-related?" Kemono asked in a hopeful tone and Daichi simply shook his head in denial. Kemono released a disappointed sigh. "Then I will be staying here" Kemono said as she started to approach the balcony. Saeko and Kyoko also decided to stay with Kemono while Roberta seemed to be eager to accompany Daichi.

As Daichi approached the door followed by Bella and Roberta, he started to wonder why Kyoko decided to stay with his mom. From what he had seen, Kyoko had been always afraid of his mom, so it wasn't surprising that he started to wonder she decided to stay around his mom. He thought that maybe it has something to do with her mom's blessings. Now that his mom had accepted Kyoko, maybe Kyoko was trying to get along with her future mother-in-law?

Well, that is what Daichi thought, but he did not know anything more than that, so for now, he decided to give up. Neither Bella nor Roberta questioned him as he made his way through the house. He kind of liked the silence, He finally arrived in the living room where Kanae and her group were going to stay for the night. The house wasn't small, but it was simply impossible to accommodate so many inside the house…

Kanae and her group immediately looked up at Daichi as his approach wasn't subtle. "Tawata Mika, Tawata Jiro, can I have a chat with you for a few minutes?" Daichi proposed without beating around the bush. The whole group was sitting on the floor, so they had to raise their heads to look at Daichi.

The said girls looked at each other and after thinking for a bit, they simply shrugged their shoulders, and moments later, they slowly stood up. "Can I come too?" Kanae asked she stood up from the floor. Since Daichi wasn't going to talk about anything super-secret, he didn't mind if Kanae accompanied Mika and Jiro.

Daichi led the three of them toward the garage, Anthony and his group were having a small campfire party near a garage. Daichi said that as long as there is no alcohol involved, he was fine with their party. Anthony and his group members were slightly unhappy that they couldn't have alcohol, but they could understand why Daichi told them to skip the alcohol.

Anthony and his group also noticed Daichi's arrival and he simply waved them off… Then, Daichi finally turned toward Mika and Jiro. "Well, as you know, the world isn't going to return to its previous state… I mean, the world is not going to return to normal. We have to fight if we want to continue surviving" Daichi said and Mika, Jiro, and Kanae simply tilted their heads in confusion, while Bella simply looked unbothered by everything and Roberta looked stoic as ever.

"What are you trying to say?" Jiro asked with a confused look on her face and Daichi simply grinned.

"You see, the two of you have received great Skills from the Mana Archive, which are going to be extremely powerful if nurtured correctly. That is what I want to do, I want to help the two of you… That is if you want to…" Daichi revealed what he wanted from them. The two of them gaped at the Daichi while Kanae simply narrowed her eyes.

"You are going to leave them be if they don't want to fight?" Kanae asked Daichi as she stared at him intently. Before Bella could attack Kanae because of the perceived slight, Daichi raised his hand to stop her. Daichi simply smiled at Kanae.

"Of course, I told you previously that I am not going to force anyone to fight, but their Skills are going to be extremely useful, that is why I approached them personally and that is also why I am willing to help them grow" Daichi explained and Kanae nodded her head in satisfaction. To be honest, Kanae was scared shitless when Bella had glared at her, she knew that she had stepped out of bounds, but she knew that she needed to stay strong for Mika, Jiro, and the others.

"We will fight, Yozora-san" Mika declared as she stepped forward. Kanae wanted to ask if she was sure, but she decided not to after she noticed the determined looks on Mika's and Jiro's faces…
