Strike Back (III)...
"So, this is the infamous Mochizuki General Hospital?" Daichi asked with a grin as he stared at the massive building a few blocks away from him. It was a rhetorical question, so nobody gave him weird looks. Only Kemono knew that this was probably the first time he was seeing a hospital…
"Roberta-chan, why don't you take the three of them to the roof?" Daichi suggested softly. The purple-haired woman simply nodded her head in understanding before gesturing Tawata Haru, Arashi, and Kiba to follow her.
"Mikami-san, Mikoto-san, the two of you are going to follow all of Roberta's orders, and you are forbidden from trying to sabotage the mission in any manner" Daichi ordered the two of them with a stoic look on his face. Daichi didn't even look at them while he relayed the order.
"Roberta-chan, you will be staying with them and we will be pointing three lasers at the roof. That is when we will be starting the attack" Daichi added before Roberta could leave with her team.
"I understand. We will use a flashlight to indicate that we received the signal" Roberta added before leaving. Daichi simply nodded his head in understanding. He really needed to do something about communication, it was getting on his nerves. Maybe, he will find someone with a specific Skill related to communication…
"Sagiri-san, you will be showing Bella all the escape routes" Daichi said as he glanced at Yuko from the corner of his eyes. "Bella, return as quickly as possible. We will start the attack after you return" Daichi said as he looked at Bella.
"Of course, milord, Bella won't disappoint you!!" Bella declared with a determined look on her face. After that, Bella turned toward Yuko and the determined look on her face transformed into a sneer. "Are you waiting for a fucking invitation? Lead me to escape routes, you titty monster!!" Bella snarled with a cruel look on her face and Yuko no matter how much Yuko tried to do otherwise, she couldn't.
So, she started to lead Bella toward the nearest escape route… Meanwhile, Kemono started to snicker after she heard how Bella was treating Yuko Sagiri… She found it extremely amusing. "What happened?" Daichi asked curiously and Kemono quickly explained why she was laughing.
"I have to agree, it is amusing" Daichi agreed in an amused tone. Then he turned toward the last member of the Black Label he had enslaved. "What do you think, Hitsugi-san?" Daichi asked. The said woman was staring at the Mochizuki General Hospital with a blank look on her face.
Sayo's eyes focused on Daichi. "Fuck you!" Sayo spat in disgust. Sayo winced in pain, but she didn't care about it. Daichi simply chuckled at her reaction…
"Come on… be honest" Daichi urged the woman.
"You are a monster!! If we knew about you before then we would have killed you long ago…" Sayo snarled in disgust, completely ignoring the pain. She knew that she was going to feel some pain after insulting Daichi, but once again she ignored the fact. They might be able to control her body, but she would never give in…
"You are saying such words, you are going to make to make me blush" Daichi gave Sayo an amused look, who continued to glare at Daichi.
"Daichi-san, it is a good thing I joined your group. You are extremely cruel" Kanae said with a smile and Daichi happily returned the smile.
"Only to my enemies…" Daichi answered with a grin. If someone else was in his place they would have felt insulted, but Daichi completely agreed with what Kanae said. His enemies deserved no mercy, no matter who they were, and attacking his mom would put anyone on top of his shit list.
"Hah… I am so proud of you son" Kemono praised Daichi as she ruffled his hair. Daichi's hair was an untameable mess, so he never had to worry about someone ruining his hair.
"By the way, don't you think having Yuriko here would have been a good thing?" Kemon asked curiously as she removed her hand from the top of his head. Since Yuriko already agreed with what Daichi was planning to do, Kemono thought it was a loss that Daichi decided not her bring her here.
"…I think she isn't ready for something like this… She might have agreed with my plan, but would have balked when the time came. We aren't talking about killing Zombies or some Mutated Beasts, we are talking about killing humans" Daichi explained as he stared at his mom.
"And you think we are ready?" Kanae asked and Kemono completely agreed with the girls' question. Her son thought that Yuriko wasn't ready for the mission and did he really think that these teenagers who were yet to finish their high school were ready for a small genocidal trip?
"Yes, I do think you are ready because you and your group aren't as naïve as Yuriko. She might be twice your age, but she had lived quite a sheltered life. I don't know what she did before marrying Papa Takagi, but I am sure whatever she did, I am sure she gave it up. Not only that, she has a weird sense of morality… She might act like she is getting used to this world, but in a part of her mind, she still believes that someday everything would return to normal" Daichi explained and everyone stared at him slack-jawed.
"And how the hell do you know that?" Kemono asked as she raised her eyebrows in question…
Daichi inclined his head with an unsure look on his face. "…To be honest, I don't know. I just felt like it… Think of it more like a gut feeling" Daichi nodded his head with a thoughtful look on his face. "The feeling has always been there… I mean not just for her, for everyone. That is why I never paid attention to most of the women even when they were trying so hard to get my attention…" Daichi explained with a shrug.
Kemono nodded her head in understanding. Yes, she had seen it too… "I see… Well, if you think she isn't ready then I will not complain, after all, you are the Leader" Kemono shrugged with a grin as once again she started to ruffle her son's hair with a caring look in her eyes…
