Alanna stopped by the first electronics store she saw and bought a smartphone. She didn't even choose a model, as she liked to do. She usually compared specs, but now she was in a hurry.

"Sir, please, I need a phone that has a good signal receiver, as I am going to a place a little far away. No matter the price." The salesman most immediately offered her the most expensive device in the store. She realized that he was trying to take advantage of the situation, and she didn't like it, but she didn't want to waste time on trivialities. Alanna paid for her smartphone and went back to her car, defined the device settings the way, and started driving.

It didn't take long for the device to start beeping with email notifications. Alanna saw Zander's name appear among the senders and knew he was sending his phone number, as promised. She disregarded the email and just picked up the phone to call Faolán's number, which she remembered perfectly.
