Chapter 20

Alanna was still dwelling on her thoughts, so she didn't notice the time passing. Her phone vibrated before turning off, which made her snap out of the stupor she was in and look around. The sky was darkening and Alanna sat up on bed. She saw the pile of clothes Zander had given her and remembered that she hadn't taken a shower as she'd said she would before he left the room.
