"Seriously, the Elders are a pain in the ass…" Alanna. "Who chose them, anyway?" 

"Normally, each pack had its own counselors. But they worked for their own pack, when it came to discussing a problem. So, it was decided to be a better thing if they went somewhere and organized themselves. No pack aymore. It's been a while, so it is normal they don't know where they are really from." Zander said. 

"But.. are there males and females? Because they get too old and die. And the new people.. are they trained? How does it works?" Alanna asked, curious. 

"They live near the king's land. like their own little city. They receive babies and raise them, according to their own beliefs. The child won't have a pack. It means that they will work in everybody's  best interest. Especially the king's interests. Not a single pack." Faolán answered this time.
