Chapter 137

They had to go all the way back, but, at the end of the stairs, instead of passing through the big golden door that would lead them to the main hall, they went to the left, through another stair. 

This new one was a bit narrower and they had to go one after the other, in a line. Alana was just after Osiris, who kept looking back and smiling at her. Faolán was behind Alanna and his hand was on her waist. 

"I have never entered such a castle." Alanna said and Osiris looked at her, behind his shoulder. 

"And are you liking it so far?" He asked.

"Yes! Indeed, I am. But, in the end, how can I be sure? I have never lived here. Tell me, Osiris, do you like it here?" 

"Well, it is very comfortable. I have nothing to complain about, except, maybe, that it is too big and takes forever to go from one place to another."
