Powers always come with responsibility!
Mr. Bob, her family, and her friends who knew how she always behaves were taken aback! The softness and warmness were not there! She totally looks like an aloof ice queen who can give her decree to destroy the world anytime!
Once she met all of them, she registered each one in her memory! She is now sure what she needs to talk to them as per their category. After a while, a five-tier cake arrived in the hall for the birthday celebration.
Sora was ready to cut the cake and all were ready to wish her. She does not like to blow out the candles so those were not decorated, she directly cut the cake and everyone started to sing a happy birthday song for her. Her mother fed her a little portion of the cake, "Happy birthday, dear!", by looking at her mother's face only, Sora felt happy and she eat the cake. Later Myra, her cousins, and her friends did the same.
There was time to serve the dinner so all the main authority people took this chance to discuss with their future queen. So all were seated in another long hall which was located on the first floor so that the party will not get interrupted and they will discuss it calmly. Sora followed her father Sebastian who is a little worried about her safety too and hence he asked Mr. Bob and other bodyguards who were always present in the shadow not to leave her side.
When Sora entered inside all seated people rose and bowed a little to show her their courtesy. She can see many of them are in the higher position in their country be they in politics, in business, in the military, in R and D, in entertainment, in sports, or even in the underworld! No wonder because of the unique power they must have reached there! So when they bowed for her she felt a little awkward!
"Please, be seated. I am not your Queen...yet!", Sora spoke gently.
They started to murmur among themselves as if she already decided to back out. Many of them felt happy inside while others were confused and looked at Sebastian with questions on their faces. Sora cleared her throat, asking for their attention and once she had it, she started.
"I can see why I am chosen one because of powers within me! I do not have any other option to opt-out also as it will again cost my life. I am not interested to do that also.", with this she threw a glance at her father who shivered!
"But I have lived my life as per my will and with a free mind, thanks to my family, but I intended to do the same onward too! So I refuse to be the pawn of anyone's hand if anybody has that intention toward me!", and she glanced with her narrowed eyes at everyone present to warn them. There was silence as they wanted to know what she has planned for them.
"I swear, I will help you all to maintain peace in our kind, and even if there are problems which can be solved with my power or knowledge I will be there. But don't expect me to bully others just to show our powers or how we are having the upper hand over them nor I will allow others to do the same! I will not tolerate this kind of behavior!", her every word was calm but created ripples on everyone.
"Power always comes with the responsibility, I know my responsibility towards you and nature, so using it wisely will be my main agenda from now onward! I hope all will support me in this! And...", Sora was still talking but a few people who were not able to seat properly after listening to her were behaving as if they sat on needles.
"What if we are not interested in your agenda?", Cayden interrupted her.
Sora looked in the direction and saw him. She knew it was going to happen even though she always wanted peace, many will not, and Cayden was always one of those who seeks power. He is her teacher Mr. Kade's Son who taught her and her kind people self-defense and he is mastered in Swordsmanship. So he taught her and many students including his son how to use the sword very well.
"Hmm! If you are not happy to hear this Cayden, you can always dual with me! If I got defeated I will release my post. And you can have it!", Sora innocently suggested, even though she knows that will not only be the case.
"Do you know the meaning of dual and its consequences, Princess Sora!", Cayden asked. Even though he is greedy for power, he has a soft corner for her, or one can say he admired her for her knowledge and her skills in sword fighting but he does not want to challenge her as defeat means death. He was more interested to be her life partner so that he can automatically ride her coattails.
"Yes! I know the after-effect of dual! I am ready to face it but from my side, I will not try to kill you! It will be up to me!", Sora was firm in her stance.
"Oh, one more thing, like Cayden if anybody else is not agreeing, I am ready for other duals too. Whatever you prefer! Just to give you all a fair chance! Later once I defeat you all, you will not have a say in these arrangements anymore!" Sora chirped first time since she came back home.
By this announcement everyone in the hall gasped, some in fear, some in horror, some in happiness, and some in admiration.
"And if anybody defeats you...you have to release your power and position of course to the winner!", someone from behind asked in a loud voice.
"Accepted!", Sora's chilled voice fill up with pride made hall a pin-drop silence, and left her father sweating. As if anybody tried to defeat her they will definitely try to kill her!

Food for thought: Even I stopped to blow candles on birthdays. Blowing out candles can expel virus particles (just like breathing, talking, etc.) on the cake by some percent which is bad.
