Awakening 001

There was absolutely nothing.

Nothing could describe the emptiness of this realm.

It was infinite, silent with no sign of life.

But perhaps, the only light source would be the person that's in this realm.

Scott Dalloway.

A teenager who can't remember his past, as if the memories were locked from ever being accessed, though he vaguely remembers what he liked doing as a child and memories of watching his favorite anime Bleach. There he was, sitting in the darkness. Possibly awaiting to be consumed by something or someone, but truth is it felt like nothing was really there. Just the young man himself and the blank space around him.

For what felt like days, felt like years. The boy wandered around this ever so infinitely expanding space around him as if trying to find a way out. But to no avail, he finds nothing.

Nothing.

Of course, it would be way too cruel to continue life in pure nothingness. I mean what did he do wrong? The kid was always kind to people and helping others in need, sure he might've been a bit of a troublemaker, but the good deeds outshined that. Why was he given this mysterious illness that had NO cure at all? Why the cruel afterlife? Why?

It didn't matter anymore as the teenager encounters, well in some definitions, God. It was a being made out of pure light, its figure was hard to pinpoint what it was exactly but it looked like a humanoid. It spoke in a monotone voice, it was devoid of any emotion.

"The afterlife does not exist. What you see is the almighty truth. Or maybe it does? Do you even believe in it at all? The possibilities are truly endless."

As Scott was about to speak he was abruptly stopped by the godly being. "You don't have to speak, because I already know what you're thinking about and I will answer."

"You are dead."

Scott looked down, he truly did not know if he was dead or not. He didn't know what to think of this situation now and sighed as he wish he could've been given a second chance.

"I'm not the type to support a fate like this, there have been ones similar to this. So, how about a proposition?"

"How about, you, get reincarnated into... well, let's just say, a fictional world YOU admired and loved. And in return, you leave from this fated prison." The being extended its arm for a handshake.

Scott immediately shook the hand of the being, much to its surprise.

"Good." That was when Scott's vision faded to black.

"You will be, quite the interesting one."

...

"Man, it's so embarrassing trying to act all high and mighty. I can't believe some Gods want to speak like this, it's goofy as heck and not my style at all...Then again if I approached him differently he might've thought this was a hidden camera show or something. Well, whatever let us continue."

================================================================

Scott was slowly opening his eyes as he found himself laying on the wooden floor, observing his surroundings...he found a normal bed, a wardrobe, a bookshelf and some posters about anime he has never even heard of before. He definitely must've been reincarnated, but where? He stood up and looked at a mirror that was on the wardrobe, how convenient.

Noting his new appearance, he still looked like a teenager but he had spiky pink hair and light brown eyes...he also noticed he was wearing something extremely familiar.

"Wait, it can't be... This must be some kind of a sick joke!" He walked towards his window and his jaw dropped while screaming inside.

The town he was staring at confirmed it all, he was on the verge of screaming. But then he slapped himself on the face, inhaling and exhaling three times before deciding to...

"Give me a few minutes, world." throw himself on the bed that he saw upon awakening in this bizarre world.
