Night Of Passion

Rocky returns to his room and lays flat on the couch, staring at the ceiling. "I get to prove once and for all that 682 can be tamed." He smiles.

A knock comes from the door.

"Come in." Rocky answers, sitting up.

Jennifer slowly opens the door and peeks in, with her blindfold on. "Hey.. I thought I.. would come to spend some time with you since Sasha is out with the other ladies."

"Why didn't you go with them?" Rocky asks.

Jennifer enters smiling weakly. She is wearing a pair of jeans and a button-up yellow shirt. "I would rather not know if my friends were going to die some horrible death soon.. I have had enough of that crap for one lifetime." She enters, closing the door and leaning against it.

Rocky slowly rises and walks to her, wrapping her in his arms. "I know you have. I'm just thankful I got a chance to get to know you."

As he does this, his eyes change to grey for a split second, as all the cameras in the room seem to simultaneously explode into pieces.

Jennifer jumps in surprise. "Did you do that?!"

"Yes." Rocky whispers. "I don't like an audience."

Tears roll off of Jennifer's cheeks as she hugs him back. "Don't go.. Please don't leave me. I can't stand this power, all I ever see in this place is death and dismemberment." She looks up at him, coming close to his face. "But you are different. You don't have to be cryogenically frozen. You could just.. escape, and.. take me with you!"

Rocky smiles shaking his head. "You know, from your first vision, I can't do that. Here is where I am supposed to be."

"Then.. just.. behave, just don't deal with 682 and Abel, leave them be!" Jennifer pleads.

Rocky moves closer, their lips barely an inch apart now. He removes her blindfold slowly. "No matter what happens, I will come back every time, just to see your smile waiting for me. Besides, imagine if my plan works, 682 will be dormant and the biggest threats will be peaceful."

"You're a stubborn ass." Jennifer says before planting a long kiss on his lips.

After a few long minutes of this embrace, Rocky pulls back with a goofy smile. "You've been staring at my ass?!"

Jennifer breaks into laughter. "No!"

Rocky raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure? My spidey senses have been tingling!"

Jennifer continues to laugh. "Your ass tingles?!"

Rocky steps back and turns around. "Oh, yes! Didn't I tell you? My special 'being watched sense' causes my ass to tingle. It is very annoying, so that is why I hate for people to stare at me!"

Jennifer grips her sides as she continues to laugh.

Rocky turns back around with a gentle smile. "There it is, that beautiful smile."

Jennifer blushes, slowly laughing now until she fully stops. "You.. sure you want to flirt with me? I am.. damaged. The long years of seeing everyone's fates still haunts me at night, replaying until I awake crying. Wouldn't you rather try Iris or Doctor..."

Rocky walks back to her, planting another kiss on her lips. He then pulls back. "Do you see me kissing anyone else?"

"God I hope not." Jennifer sighs happily, giving him another more passionate kiss.

"Why don't you ask him?" Rocky asks.

Jennifer leans against him, causing him to fall backward onto the couch, with her on top. "'God'?Because of the feels, I am having.. I only want them to be between you and me. I want them to be safe. I don't want anyone to ruin this for me." She whispers.

Rocky looks into her eyes. "And so they shall be."

They embrace there for a moment, silently staring into each other's eyes. The whole of the facility seems quiet and deserted, not a sound to be heard.

After a few more minutes Jennifer speaks, softly, longingly, as if a sigh from an angel had exited her lips. "Do.. you want to lock that door?"

Rocky slowly rises, lifting her up in his arms, from a sitting position.

Jennifer wraps her arms around his neck, putting her legs on either side of his hips. "I imagine it is not hard to lift me."

"Not for me." Rocky walks to the door, with her in his arms, and locks the door. He then rests her against it, kissing her passionately. He then pulls back. "Trust me. Nothing will keep us apart."

"I trust you. And make no mistake, I want this too." Jennifer answers.

Rocky chuckles. "I am glad you told me, or I might not have figured..." He says sarcastically.

"Shut up and kiss me." Jennifer interrupts.

Outside the door, Sasha smiles as she hears Jennifer's soft moans. She turns to the left and walks down the hall. "You two deserve to be happy, and I will personally see it is not ruined. If any SCP breaks out tonight, I will personally choke them to death."

Just then, outside of Iris' room, 106 waves his hand from a portal in the wall.

Sasha sighs. "What's up, old man?"

106 pokes his head out with a smile. "Plans.. are.. in.. motion." He groans in a raspy voice.

"Holy shit, you can talk? Why now?!" Sasha asks.

"Be.. here.. all.. night.. other.. wise." 106 replies.

Sasha chuckles. "Okay, fair enough. Hey, try to keep 953 under wraps tonight, okay? I might have to kill her otherwise."

106 nods and disappears.

Sasha knocks on Iris' door.

Iris slowly opens the door. "Hey, Sasha.. Who were you talking to?"

"106. Can we talk?" Sasha asks.

"Yeah.. Come on in." Iris moves to allow her entrance.

Once Sasha is inside, Iris closes the door. "What's up?"

Sasha sighs. "Straight to the point, are you interested in Rocky?"

Iris chuckles. "Well, he is cute and all, but not my type. Why?"

"I just hooked him and Jennifer up!" Sasha smiles.

Iris crosses her arms. "Wouldn't that have made this a moot point?"

Sasha shrugs. "Wouldn't be the first time multiple chicks fell for one guy."

Iris groans. "Okay.. I will admit, maybe I had.. thoughts, but who wouldn't in this place? I could see Jennifer liked him, so I laid off. She has been through way more than me, and she deserves to be happy. Besides, I still have my own hopes.. and dreams."

"That Abel would come to his senses?" Sasha asks.

Iris sighs. "Yeah.. I know. That is like wishing a volcano will not burn you when you live at the bottom of the mountain. I guess.. I just always hoped I could be the exception, the one woman he actually noticed."

Sasha looks confused. "Didn't he already acknowledge you after that one test?"

Iris shrugs. "Sure he did, and for a moment I was so happy my heart could have leaped out through my throat.. but then, it was right back to a co-worker relationship. I even went as far as staging it so he would walk in on me naked, but he just walked right past me to the showers. With him, I feel so invisible, and it pisses me off."

"Maybe you need some pheromones." Sasha suggests.

Iris crosses her arms. "Oh, yeah! Let me use untested pheromones on a certified sociopath! That should end well!" She says sarcastically.

Sasha shrugs. "Maybe Rocky will hit him hard enough to snap him out of that?"

Iris leans forward. "Personal opinion, and don't be mad.. I think Rocky is asking for more than he can chew. The last time Abel was on a rampage, the foundation had to detonate a nuclear bomb to stop him.. the same kind of bomb that whipped out so many of.. your 173 clones."

"Oh, I am aware." Sasha says annoyed.

"Are you mad about that?" Iris asks.

Sasha shrugs. "At the time, yes. Now? No. I have a new purpose and it is satisfactory. So, are you rooting for Abel?"

Iris shakes her head. "He will be fine either way. He will just regenerate and continue to be the dense.. handsome.. cold guy he always has been. I.. do not want the match to happen at all! Let sleeping dogs be."

"Good luck with that." Sasha says.

Iris sighs. "I figured it would happen no matter what I said. It is not like I could stop anyone."

Later that night, Rocky and Jennifer lay in bed, partially covered by the sheets. Jennifer rests her head on Rocky's bare chest.

She sighs happily. "Think the foundation would let us share a room, in the future?"

Rocky smiles. "I imagine it will be hard for them to say no to us here soon."

"Before or after you become a human popsicle?" Jennifer asks.

Rocky chuckles. "After."

"Just so you know, this was one of my safe days." Jennifer comments.

Rocky shrugs. "Would have been fine either way. I think we would make beautiful children."

Jennifer looks up at him. "But would they be normal or SCPs?"

"Only one knows and his room is down the hall." Rocky jokes.

Jennifer rolls her eyes. "Is that a hint?"

Rocky raises his head and kisses her forehead. "Do as you wish, but eventually you will want to seek out guidance. I think you should go see him, at least while I am frozen. He might ease your mind a bit."

Jennifer nods. "Is.. it okay if I stay here.. like this.. for a while?"

Rocky wraps an arm around her. "Don't you dare move."

Walking the halls, Sasha sees 953 sneaking towards Rocky's door. Sasha quickly whips out part of her arm and wraps the fox woman tightly.

953 falls on her butt and looks back at her. "Oh.. it's you.."

"Not tonight, bitch." Sasha says, dragging her down the hall. "Back to your containment cell."

953 kicks her feet in protest. "Let me go!!"
