GU411 Vs SCP 076

Six days later, after following up with previously visited SCPs, following up for debriefing with Dr. Therman, and training heavily with Drake, Rocky lays in his bed tossing and turning anxiously.

Sasha taps her foot rapidly as she stands over the bed. "Can you PLEASE calm down?!!"

Rocky chuckles. "I am seriously trying, but I have been planning this for a while!"

"Well you are making me feel weird.. so stop it." Sasha growls. "What about your plan to get out of cryo?"

Rocky sits up with a confident smile. "No worries."

Sasha turns her nose up in a huff. "If I am unable to go on dates with Clef for a freaking month you owe me big time!!"

Rocky thinks for a moment. "How about..."

Sasha leans forward, getting in Rocky's face with a glare. "NO!! Surprise me!"

Rocky smiles. "Okay.. I will!"

Sasha smiles back pocking him on the forehead. "Now go to sleep. You need your energy for tomorrow." She then heads for the door.

"Where are you going?" Rocky asks.

Sasha looks back. "I am helping with Abel's transfer to this facility! Wouldn't want him running off on you!" She then leaves the room.

A few hours later, Dr. Clef rides in the back of a hummer staring at an annoyed Abel. Abel is wrapped up by Sasha's chain as 999 sits happily in Clef's lap.

Dr. Clef's smile slowly grows as Abel becomes more annoyed.

"Stop staring at me.." Abel growls.

Dr. Clef's smile continues to slowly grow. "Why?"

Abel slowly leans forward. "I will kill you if you don't."

Dr. Clef then toses 999 into Abel's lap. The adorable eyes of 999 meet Abel's as he wraps him in a hug. Abel slowly leans back again.

"Try as you might, you can't make good on that threat. Even if you attacked me..." Dr. Clef quickly pulls his handgun and points it at Abel's face. "It would not take much for me to put you back in your cell."

Abel looks down questioningly. "Is.. this chain getting warmer?"

Dr. Clef chuckles as he glances down at Sasha. "Probably!"

"SO COOL!!!" Sasha squeals happily in her thoughts.

Dr. Clef puts his handgun away as quickly as he drew it. "I know it will not last long, but just let 999 do his thing and relax you."

"Where.. is.. Iris?" Abel asks shyly.

"At the facility.. why?" Dr. Clef asks.

Abel looks out the window of the hummer. "I just wanted to make sure she didn't.. try to run away again."

Dr. Clef leans forward resting his arms on his knees. "Still playing pack leader even though you no longer lead the pack?"

Abel glances at him. "I just wanted to make sure she was safe.."

Dr. Clef winks at him. "She can handle herself just fine. Don't forget I saw to it that she had the best instructors."

Abel sighs. "That is perhaps one of the few reasons I restrain myself from killing you."

"Your idea of restraint lack conviction, Abel." Dr. Clef rebuts. "If you haven't driven her away with your last outburst, your tone will certainly finish the job."

Abel looks down at 999. "Let go."

"Not going to happen." Dr. Clef says seriously.

Abel hangs his head. "I had every right to be upset. The foundation lead me around like a trained dog on a leash barking orders at every turn, Iris tried to abandon us after beating me in a test of skills, and..."

"In general you are unsatisfied.. I get that." Dr. Clef interrupts.

Abel lounges forward coming within inches of Dr. Clef's face. "YOU KNOW NOTHING!! After all these many years I am betrayed yet again!! My brother deserves to be in my place.. but, it would seem, even God has betrayed me!!"

Dr. Clef leans slowly back to an upright position looking down at Abel. "You will never see the truth if you are constantly blinded by your own rage."

Arriving at the facility, Abel is lead to a high-security containment cell and left there with Sasha and 999. An hour passes as Abel sits in silence.

"You are a load of fun!" Sasha says sarcastically.

"Shut up." Abel growls.

"You could be less of an ass. It is not like I have done anything to you!" Sasha continues.

Abel fights against Sasha's hold to no avail. "I will cut you to pieces!!"

Sasha laughs. "I would say good luck, but I am unbreakable. Worse than you have tried."

After a pause of silence, the cell door opens and Iris appears in the doorway. She crosses her arms as she stares at him. "Nice of you to write me back!" She says sarcastically.

Abel looks away. "Didn't you know they don't allow me any writing material?"

Iris shrugs. "Would you have written me back if they had?"

Abel's head lowers. "Maybe.."

"Do.. you two want to be alone?" Sasha asks.

Iris shakes her head. "I will not be here that long. I just wanted you to know I am not running anymore. If you go on another rampage you will have to cut me down before you get to anyone else."

"I..."

"Save it!" Tears begin welling up in Iris' eyes. "I was hoping, with all my heart, that you would someday notice me.. God forbid just smile at me!!"

Abel looks up with a forced smile. "I.. don't have a lot to be happy about.. But you being here helps."

Iris seems surprised by this statement, stepping forward slightly before freezing. "Abel.."

Abel shakes his head. "I know.. I do not have the most welcoming personality..."

As he begins rambling, Iris looks down at 999.

"... I want to be.. welcoming to you. It is just hard for me." Abel continues.

Iris glances at Sasha next, confirming she has a good hold on Abel. With a deep breath, she quickly approaches, lifts Abel's head by his chin, and looks into his sad eyes. "When you are done being a dumbass, I will still be here.. waiting."

"Promise? You will not try to leave again?" Abel asks unnaturally nervous, his hands shaking at his side.

Iris plants a kiss on his lips and then pulls back with a smile. "I promise." She whispers.

With that Iris turns and leaves. The door seems to lock multiple times, or perhaps that is just air locks further beyond.

Sasha extends her chain and forms a face. "You really care about Iris, don't you? She is pretty cute!"

Abel nods with a silent smile.

"Oh come on! Tell me what happened?!" Sasha pleads. "I am a sucker for that mushy romantic crap!"

Abel blushes slightly. "When I first met her, it was just in passing that our eyes met. She was wandering the halls as I was escorted to my cell after completing another mission. For a moment I thought I had seen an angel, her bright blonde hair, crystal blue eyes, and smile screamed of elegance and grace. Little did I know the fundation would soon test us against each other. I was very surprised when she activated all the switches before I did, but then the horrifying realization hit me, without that camera she was powerless. As I stared into her eyes I saw passion, confidence, love.. but more than anything gentleness. It was like everything that was about to happen had been laid out before me."

"What happened?" Sasha asks.

"I welcomed her into the MTF team, she was assigned to the scouting team, and we worked together. She would find my target and I would terminate them.. Honestly, I had never been so happy in my life. Then.. one day she was suddenly gone again. I became frightened thinking that something might have happened to her, and I began lashing out because no one else seemed to care. Then.. she was back again, but this time without her camera. My fear turned to anger as she told me all that they had said and done.. I was beyond the point of calming myself down when she told me she had tried to escape..." Abel stops, looking up at the door. "She must think I went into a rage because of her!"

Sasha nods. "That is how I understand it."

Abel furiously shakes his head. "NO! It was because of how they treated her!"

Sasha pulls 999 closer to both of them. "Calm down.. You can tell her later.." Sasha's eyes grow wide. "WAIT! Your file, according to Rocky, says you could not distinguish between male and female!"

Abel grits his teeth. "I.. lied, I played dumb.."

"Then all those times she tried to get your attention?!"

Abel smiles with a chuckle. "She already had my attention, from the moment I laid eyes on her. I found her over-excited efforts so adorable that I didn't want her to stop.. although finding me naked in the shower was a bit off-putting."

Sasha laughs. "You're a virgin, aren't you?!!!"

Abel looks at her sharply. "Shut up!!" He growls.

"Yeah, that is right! You never had any children!" Sasha exclaims.

Abel looks away. "Just something else my brother took from me!!"

Sasha's head follows his keeping eye contact. "That is something we have in common. I was a ritualistic sacrifice, killed before I could ever truly taste love nor have children."

Abel looks surprised. "Your brother...."

"NO, DUMBASS!! Just killed by some cult of wack jobs!!" Sasha looks annoyed. "I don't think you are playing dumb.."

Abel tips back against the wall. "What do I do?"

"You go have some fun tomorrow, save the world, and GET THE GIRL!" Sasha replies.

Abel chuckles. "You make it sound so easy."

"And you make it complicated when you overthink it." Sasha rebuts.

The next morning, Rocky stands, a cup of coffee in hand, in the arena as Abel is lead in by the guards. Sasha and 999 let go and are escorted out.

The whole of the foundation watches from camera feeds as the two size each other up. The 05 council watches from their chambers, a radio sits beside the old man. Dr. Clef watches from an open vent high up on the wall, his sniper rifle by his side. Dr. Therman, Sasha, Iris, Jennifer, and a few officers watch from the observation room. Other SCPs, including 049, 166, and 035, watch from their cells, a small or medium tv provided to them upon Rocky's request.

Abel watches as the door closes then looks around the room. "I have been here before.."

"This is the arena you fought 682 in." Rocky replies.

Abel sighs as he draws his swords out of thin air. "You are not going to disappoint me, are you? You really don't seem all that impressive."

Rocky shrugs. "All I can do is my best."

Abel points his sword at Rocky. "Your 'best' might get you killed."

Rocky blinks as his eyes appear grey. "I like that sword." He then appears quickly in front of Abel.

With an open palm strike, he hits Abel's wrist knocking the sword out of his grasp. The sword quickly disappears. Rocky continues to land strike after strike to Abel's shoulders and elbows as he skillfully moves around him.

Abel whips around and hits Rocky in the face with the back of his hand sending him sliding into a wall.

"OH! Bitch slapped!" Sasha exclaims. She then grabs her face in pain. "OWW, God damn that hurts!"

"SASHA!" Jennifer exclaims.

Sasha looks at her with a shrug. "What?!" Her eyes widen as she presses against the glass. "Wait! How did he hit him?!"

Rocky pulls himself out of the wall just in time to narrowly miss being hit by Abel's sword. Rocky jumps to the right and jabs Abel in the kidney. Abel grits his teeth as he brings down a dagger. The dagger stops short of Rocky's throat. Abel presses against the dagger but it does not budge.

"What black magic is this?!" Abel exclaims angrily.

Rocky grins as he uppercuts him in the jaw.

Abel falls back, then points his finger at Rocky. "What the hell was that?!!"

"Did you really think I would step into an arena with you without having some trick up my sleeves?" Rocky asks.

Abel chuckles as he slowly gets up. "Okay." He spits a drop of blood on the floor. "Just means I don't have to hold back." A dark aura surrounds Abel as he glares at Rocky with a wide smile.

Iris starts towards the door but is stopped by the officers. "Let me through! That son of a bitch is going into his rage mode even though I told him not to!!"

"Iris! We can not allow you to get involved. You may watch, but under no circumstance are we letting you out of our sight!" Dr. Therman says gruffly.

Iris crosses her arms. "He was probably counting on this.. asshole."

Jennifer looks down at the two. "I don't see either of them dying so that is good news."

"I will still kick them in the nuts after this!" Iris says in a huff.

Sasha turns with a smile. "I volunteer to hold them down!"

"Deal!" Iris replies.

Steam begins to be emitted from Rocky's aura as its heat grows. "Take your best shot."

Abel shots forward and knocks Rocky into another wall.

Sasha's eyes begin darting back and forth in confusion as a wave of anger washes over her. A feeling she had only felt one other time. "NO!" She shouts as she jumps through the window, shattering it into pieces.

Without time giving to rest, Abel leaps forward again bringing his sword down. Rocky's arm reaches out and the sword stops five inches from his hand as a blue transparent claw forms in place. Sasha runs towards them, franticly trying to reach Rocky in time, but it is already too late. With effortless motion Abel is thrown back, knocking Sasha down.

The 05 council perk up as Rocky emerges from the wall. His head is covered with a blue transparent aura resembling a wolf, his arms covered the same as claws, and he is raised off the floor by what appears to be bi-pedal wolf legs. The only part of Rocky not covered in an aura is his torso.

In her room, Epon kneels and begins muttering a prayer.

Abel gets up and begins at Rocky again but the wolf grabs his sword, staring him down with white eyes.

"Weak.. human." Rocky growls.

"I am no longer human." Abel replies before his sword is broken and he is forced back again.

"Was.. not.. talking.. about.. you." Rocky grunts.

Sasha leaps up and runs to Rocky. "Rocky, you have to fight it! You can't let him take control!"

Rocky slaps her away. "No.. Rocky.. only.. WOLF!!" He roars.

As Rocky slaps her, Sasha begins forming around his arm and spreading across his body.

At the same time all this is happening, the 05 council radios to Dr. Clef to take his shot.

Dr. Clef readies his sniper rifle and aims for the left side of Rocky's chest. "Sorry Mr. *****, I can't kill you but I can wound you bad enough to stop you."

As he pulls the trigger, Sasha forms over his intended mark. The bullet ricochets off of her and hits Rocky in his shoulder joint.

Sasha screams in pain but forces through to wrap fulling around Rocky.

The 05 council then radios Dr. Therman. "Clear the observation room and hit the red button in front of you!"

Sasha hears this but is too busy restraining Rocky to react.

Dr. Therman nods to the officers who quickly escort Iris and Jennifer out. Dr. Therman then hits the red button as sleeping gas fills the room. Dr. Therman then hurries out of the room. Dr. Clef quickly puts on a gas mask and waits in his original spot.

Abel looks around confused. "What is this?! I was promised a fight!!"

Armed officers, wearing gas masks, rush in from an alternate, air-locked chamber.

Rocky struggles against Sasha. "Let go of me!!" He roars.

"I can't.. I'm sorry, I can't!" Sasha sobs.

The officers surround Rocky and point their rifles at him. In his struggle, Rocky knocks a few of them across the room.

"You dishonor our match!!" Abel shouts as he charges one of them.

However, a mechanized officer grabs Abel quickly, by the throat, and pins him to the floor. He then slaps a reality anchor around Abel's neck.

Moments later, Rocky, Abel, and Sasha, now as a small chain, lay motionless on the floor.

"Return 076 to his cell and prep GU411 for cyro QUICKLY!" The old man orders.

Dr. Therman, now wearing a gas mask, hurries in and collects Sasha. She looks up as Dr. Clef nods to her.

The officers leave the arena carrying with them Rocky and Abel.

In his room, 049 shakes his head. "Not as elegant as he had planned but it had the same results." He then turns to 343. "I accept your offer!"

Also in his cell, 035 claps his hands. "Bravo! Encore encore!"

Dr. Therman meets Iris and Jennifer out in the hall. "Return to your rooms!" She orders.

Iris and Jennifer both give her an unkind look before turning and heading down the hall. As they walk together, they pass a D class heading the opposite way.

His eyes are a gold color as he eyes the scene and then turns off down a different hall. He laughs to himself. "With your best defense silenced, nothing stands in my way of unleashing hell!"
