Nausea could pile up inside someone, if one were to vomit even once, much less over and over again.

And in my case, even though my mouth was being drenched red, and even though I was coughing blood, over and over, the feeling of nausea was the last thing I was feeling.

The amount of blood that I had spilled was in ample amount, but the loss of blood was immediately filled with pure blood from my heart, as Zoe kept restoring my body.

My visible skin and shirt, both were now covered with dried blood and were still being drenched with warm blood again and again. But nonetheless, no wounds were there underneath all that.

The fight was messy, white semi-ice all around, holes everywhere, and looking at my appearance, even more so, but I wasn't feeling such.

Thanks to Zoe, the feeling of fatigue and pain were immediately lost.

The fight was also clearly intense. The flames were burning hot but having a sword, that can consume flames and attack with ice, true to its name, The Sword of Ice and Fire, was very handy.

But the main thing at the moment is that it is my first one-on-one confrontation. Albeit troublesome in my heart, I was the only one who was fighting, and the situation was somewhat exciting.

I felt powerful, my new stats, normal to this world now, but were new and excessive to my body. My movement felt easy, and fluid. And my strength felt much greater than I had ever experienced.

And if having a weapon just perfect for confrontation seems cliche and advantageous enough. Having my pain, burning sensation, and fatigue being felt nonexistent was overwhelming.

At this point I felt, stronger and faster. I definitely felt like the main performer for this script, even though it seemed all ruined now. And granted my appearance clad in my own blood was terrible to be considered a main lead, nevertheless, I felt like one.

Arthur: " Puckk.. "

As I blocked a part of the flame attack, that I didn't manage to block earlier, headed toward one of the glass cells, blood filled my mouth again.

The cell was very sturdy in my opinion, even despite my opinion. Because as the flames sometimes hit those cells, mostly empty ones on top, and some on the ground level, they didn't break.

People reactively showed concern and fearful expressions, but the glass walls only rumbled like water surfaces. But it was still good to block stronger-looking attacks that headed at them.

Magnus said earlier that Kurtis shattered one of the cells in the hopes of escaping, but ended up leaving behind a dark cell, which made me wonder. How much strength did he really use? or it could have been a skill.

' I should check his profile. If he is still alive somewhere. ' I thought.

Then as I wiped the blood from my mouth, the flame cat hissed at me, threatening me, she seemed frustrated.

[ The Nubecula 'Guhimo' Comments "Bad Kitty.!" ]

Reading that comment I also voiced my condolences.

Arthur: " Yeah... even though I also like cats, this one is making it harder for me to like her. "

[ The Nubecula 'Guhimo' is furious. ]

Once again I focused as the sword shone with blue light, and a slash followed that. Frost formed in an arc shape, long and tall, starting from the ground raising towards the flame cat, spikes of ice stretching at her.

Arthur: " But I do what I want, and I will release this cat. "

I looked around, and the people inside the cell showed desperate expressions. Most of the students seemed to fear for their lives.

I spotted Regina, the professor of the battle course for sixth and seventh years, in one of the cells. Her eyes were fixed on the battle, she didn't seem to flinch at all, furthermore, her fists were clenched tightly.

[ The 'Flame of the Abandoned Soul' has used 'Breath Attack Lvl.1' ]

Arhhhh.!!!!.... Sizzle.....

At that message, flame breath came out from her maw, which took my attention. Flames clashed with the tall frost that separated us and melted away with a sizzling sound, and then the strong attack traveled further at me.

I gripped the sword, which shone orange, with both of my hands and then swung it infront. The flames were consumed by it. I kept the motion of the sword going, making a circle, and then swung it back.

The flame cat was somewhat becoming accustomed to the fight now. She swiftly dodged the flame attack. The flames went and connected with the cells in the corner above, they all rippled like water surface.

Arthur: " I need to get everyone out of here soon. "

[ The Nubecula 'Raziel' is nodding his head. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' is snorting at you. ]

That thought resonated, because the fearful faces of others were definitely uncomfortable to watch. But also the fight was getting intense, I knew that. And even though clad in my own blood I looked pathetic. I was worried that the fight among the people trapped inside the cell might become a talking matter into the future. IF we manage to go out unscathed.

' To be honest, if I have to go keep fighting like this. I don't know whether we will. ' It was a rational conclusion since the fight seems to be in a stalemate now. And I didn't know how long would I be able to go on.

On the other side, the flame cat might have seemed to be at a disadvantage at first, but she looked like she would hold out for more, than me.

[ The Nubecula 'Hwang Jini' comments "This might be challenging." ]

[ The Nubecula 'Guhimo' comments "What do you mean?" ]

Arthur: " Do you want to have a deathmatch kitty? "

I voiced that since she seemed to have no intention to engage with the frost slashes head-on and attacked mostly with her flames. She is trying to wear me out so that I deplete all my stats, I concluded.

I couldn't help but laugh. Am I being played like a pet?

[ The Nubecula 'Whose heart bleed for heartbroken' comments "I don't like this." ]

I swung my sword, its blade covered in blue light, frost once again formed infront of the beast. She jumped up and then landed on the frost of two to three meters, as it melted away.

She hissed at me, seemingly replying to my question, flames danced at the corner of its mouth.

Arthur: " Haha... How can I deny an adorable kitty's request? If that is what you want, Now a deathmatch shall you have. "

[ The Nubecula 'Dionysus' is sipping his wine. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' is snorting at you. ]

Obviously, I had no intention of dying here, but I could engage in a good match, even if it would be tough, and troublesome, but not impossible.

My stats are now not so low, and I have a good skill to keep not feeling pain, and I also have a good weapon.

I could engage here, and even if that proves to be less, I could use more points that I have, to raise my stats a tad more. Even if it will be a pity spending points, being alive and clearing this script is more important.

' I am being looked down? ' That thought came into my mind as the flame cat opened her mouth at me and flames danced all over her body, intimidatly.

Being looked down on is something I can tolerate to some extent and regretting the past is something I would not like to admit in my lifetime.

Setting aside my thoughts, The sword shone blue as I tried to advance forward again, but then-

[ A handful of Nubeculas has taken a deep breath. ]

With determined eyes, I was about to step ahead, when a voice pulled me, halting my step.

The voice was low and cold, but it was clear. It seems that Lisa has recovered from her shock state. I didn't forget about her, but since I could not help her at the moment. I just told Zoe to deflect any attack that headed her away, since she had no defense to herself.

I felt a relief wash over me, ' About time, I could take some rest. '

I felt like turning to her, with a grateful smile, as if turning to a savior, someone I am glad that they show up.

Lowering the sword, feeling my relief, my wings flapped and I turned with that feeling till mid-way, but that couldn't come to pass all the way.

Lisa: " You want to do what? "

I thought that the only problem that now would exist would be for the flame cat, but she darted her words at me. I felt my neck covered in sweat.

Her voice felt cold and clear, I saw her taking a step forward, towards me. Her eyes seemed to look at me like I am an insignificant fool. Her voice resounded even colder.

Lisa: " You can laugh? "

' I laughed? Sorry ma'am, I shouldn't have laughed. ' That apology just came into my mind because of how cold she seemed to me, but I couldn't voice my thoughts out loud.

[The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' is laughing madly. ]

Lisa: " While looking at your own death? Is it so easy to accept, like accepting a work from me? "

She took another step ahead. The air in the surroundings got colder and colder, just as the look in her eyes seemed to becoming distant and blue.

Everything came to a halt.

[ Some Nubeculas have held their breath. ]

I was already looking forward to resigning from the battle after hearing her voice, but even the flame cat didn't throw any attacks. She also sensed something changing in the surroundings.

And then messages appeared infront of me.

[ A new attribute is germinating inside Lisa Hart's Soul. ]

[ The attribute 'Ice princess' has grown inside the existence 'Lisa Hart'. ]

[ An Exclusive skill has branched with her attribute. ]

[ The Exclusive Skill 'Blizzard Lvl.1' is activated. ]

Arthur: " Heol? "

At the appearance of the messages, my words subconsciously, out of habit, came out in Korean.

[ The Nubecula 'Hwang Jini' is looking with wide eyes. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' has stopped laughing. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Whose heart beats for Heartbroken' is looking in your direction. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Raziel' is shocked. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Guhimo' is looking with stars in her eyes. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Dionysus' has choked on his wine. ]

Just like them, I was baffled as well.

An attribute was forming infront of me inside an existence of this world. Don't take my words lightly, it is a prominent thing.

Changing an attribute, is like when someone realizes that the way of living they live is not the right one, like a hero realizing that the world was too cruel to save so he decides to take the role of a villain or the other way around.

Evolving an attribute, is like when someone believes their existence is not to live a normal life but to be of great or greater importance. Like when someone, through multiple courses of their actions, believes in themselves to opt a role deep in their soul.

Both are equally amazing and impressive moments in someone's life. I have seen multiple people, the ones I consider as main leads for this world go through those.

But germinating an attribute, forming a resolve in their heart for themselves, is out of the ordinary. That is what I believed. Even if it were to happen.

' Celine was going to go through it once, if it was Cassandra or Gis, even Sebastian would be believable... but Lisa... What is transpiring this? '

I was stumped by this, coldness oozed out of Lisa, like a visible aura, and temperature was dropping all around.

The cold wind then struck me, I put my hand above to cover my face, and I saw white snow blowing through my half-closed eyes.

The wind became harsher, and my wings curled up to protect me, but it was still strong for me. I backed away further, but the flame cat stood firm, her flames moved with the cold wind.

Then as Lisa took some steps moving toward the Cat, with her every step the ground underneath slowly turned to ice, and then the whole ground became covered with it, she at its center.

[ The Nubecula 'Hwang Jini' comments "This-" ]

Even the tactician was speechless.

Screeechhhhh.....

The flame cat hissed at Lisa, which shifted her attention from me, who was now behind the flame cat, from my perspective. But unlike before her eyes contained no hesitation, only coldness.

whooshhhhh.... whooshhhh...

Cold wind sound struck my ears, it was like a blizzard had descended upon the entire area, that was the skill that Lisa used now.

' Attribute Ice Princess, and Blizzard skill, she got those? '

Everyone knows Ice Princess is Crystal's title, she was the one who first germinated the ice-type attribute and it was integrated into her soul, and sure, Lisa is from her family, but still...

' Well, I guess it is better for her. Her future would be a lot easier with that. '

I honestly felt that.

Lisa: " This would not end like last time. "

At her words, she raised her hands, like she was holding an invisible spheres. But then snowy wind, from the surroundings, gathered at the center of her hand. And soon they took the shape of the sphere, it was white with small snow particles in them, constantly moving in a circle as it glowed white and blue.

She gently threw one of the spheres in her hand at the cat, who was still covered in flames, in this now snowy surroundings.

The sphere left her hand and headed at her. The small sphere grew in size the closer it got to the flame cat, growing as large as her. Even though the small sphere before looked beautiful but harmless, the now large sphere seemed dangerous, but for some reason, the flame cat didn't dodge it and then it engulfed her.

Whooshhhhhh...

After the sphere engulfed her, the sphere then turned to snow, and then with the wind it swayed away.

At the center, between me and Lisa, now there was a humongous cat, covered in snow. She looked like a snow statue, but the statue then moved furiously, like a cat shaking water off it.

Arthur: " hm. "

I put my arms above me and my wings followed. I blocked the ice that the cat shook from her body, and then the wings infront of me shone a little and slowly became transparent, even more so than before.

Zoe: ' My king. '

Zoe's voice resounded in my head, her voice sounded tired.

Arthur: " It's alright. Take a rest. "

She seemed reluctant, but at my words, the wings disappeared completely as the messages flashed infront of me.

[ The passive skill 'Zoe's Heart' is on cooldown. ]

[ Cooldown period: 1 hour ]

' She must have been really tired. ' I thought, looking at the cooldown period.

Her fatigue was justified, defense from external attacks is not her purpose, but her reluctance was also understandable.

As the snow cleared a little, A humungous cat of red and golden fur came into view, there was not a single wif of flame on her.

Screeeeeechhhhhhhh.....

She hissed at Lisa loudly and then flames came out of her mouth and covered her all over again.

[ The 'Flame of the Abandoned Soul' has used 'Breath Attack Lvl.1' ]

The flames once again condensed at her maw, which looked terrifying even in this snow environment. And then without hesitation the cat, once again clad in flames, attacked with flame breath.

Lisa: " It won't work this time. "

Her eyes were cold and her voice was even colder. She lifted her free hand infront of her, the aura around her flared up a little, and then snow-wind in the surroundings moved towards her raised hand, and further moved swiftly toward the breath attack.

The cold wind and flames collided. The cold wind moved outward like the flames were trying to pierce the wind, but couldn't do so and the flames slowly disappeared at the point they both collided.

[ Several Nubeculas are watching with excitement. ]

Lisa: " It wouldn't be like last. Not when I am not somewhere far away and present here. I won't lose anyone anymore. "

The moving snow covered my view due to all the wind. The flame cat was visible a little far, but clear due to her size. And Lisa who was even farther away, I couldn't see her clearly, only her silhouette, and her blue eyes were shining like jewels.

Lisa: " There is no point in dwelling on what has already happened. Keeping that in my heart, I need to focus on today. Right?"

I spotted those Blue jewels looking at me and heard some murmur. The sound of strong wind dulled most of the voice before reaching me.

Screech..

The cat hissed to intimidate Lisa, and the jewels in her eyes turned to her. Then the flame cat tried to take a step towards her but then she threw the sphere, which was on her other hand.

The cat showed concern and tried to dodge the sphere, moving from out of its way. Lisa then moved her hand and the wind around the flame cat became intense to the point where I couldn't help but say -

Arthur: " Blizzard huh "

The wind became strong and even I felt the power in it.

Arthur: "Uh.. "

The cat's body flattered as she tried to fight the pressure contained in those strong cold winds. And before she realized it, the sphere engulfed her, covering her in snow from head to toe.

The humongous snowcat moved again, shaking the snow off her, and then with a threatening expression, she stood on her two back legs, lifting her two front legs at Lisa.

Lisa: " Enough. This is where it ends for you. "

With those words, a message appeared infront of me again.

[ The Existence 'Lisa Hart' has activated 'Icicle Lvl.1' ]

' A new active skill as well? ' As that thought came into my mind.

The paws of the flame cat's hind legs, on which she stood, became covered with pure ice.

The cat showed a confused expression which turned to urgency and angry expression. She tried to lower her forelegs upon Lisa as soon as possible, and at the same time, some sort of flames danced on the corner of her mouth.

But the next instant, like a flash, the whole flame cat became covered in pure ice. In the place of the humongous flame cat, now stood a pure ice sculpture of the same cat, lifting her forelegs, even the flames on the corner of her mouth froze.

[ The Nubecula 'Hwang Jini' is speechless. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Whose heart bleeds for heartbroken' is looking at you. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' comments "Look at your expression Heroboy. Hahaha." ]

[ The Nubecula 'Who Like Cigar and Candy' is laughing. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Raziel' is looking. ]

[ The Nubecula 'Dionysus' is coughing his wine. ]

[ The Nubecua 'Guhimo' comments "Beautiful.!" ]

As messages appeared, my eyes remained fixed on the beautiful sculpture, and then another message flashed.

[ The Miscellaneous Script 'Flame of Abandoned Soul' has been cleared. ]

[ Participants: Arthur Xanders, Lisa Hart. ]

?: "Hart?"

A voice resonated from my right. I moved my head and saw Regina, behind a glass wall, looking at the message hovering on the top.

' Right. Lisa used Regina's last name. ' With that thought, I realized that I was standing almost at the edge of the hall, now covered with snow.

I moved my head around and saw almost no one else looking at the messages, everyone was looking at the huge ice cat, and before anyone else could look-

BANG.!

A huge explosion happened far behind Lisa, which took everyone's attention even mine and Regina's.

The edge of the hall on the other side, the glass wall that showed empty cells, two or three levels above the ground, those glasses shattered.

The whole hall shook a little, everyone's head moved to look in the direction of shattered glass, be that students, crouching inside the cell with fear, professors like Magnus looking with bitterness, Regina or Lisa with confusion and vigilance.

As the tremor happened, I tried to stand firm, as the ice and snow beneath my feet were a little slippery, but then something else took my attention.

Crack.

Arthur: "Hm?"

I heard something crack, but I didn't know where it came from.

crack. crak. crack crak-

Then soon several cracking sounds reached my ear, and my eyes shifted towards the sound. It came from the front... no... from above.

Lisa's head flipped in my direction, and I moved my head up. But before I could understand anything. The huge snow ice sculpture formed cracks from its hind legs till its back like a spider web and then the huge tail fell detaching from its body.

My steps faltered backward, trying to avoid the falling ice tail. I quickly skated a little back on the ice since I couldn't take steps properly on the icy ground.

Boom.

In one second, the ice tail fell and smashed infront of me. It was quite far, and I didn't really needed to move, but with the tail falling on the ground another light tremor resonated and one of my legs slipped on the ice floor.

Arthur: "Aa-"

As it happened, I thought I would fall on my back, but then I remembered that I was quite close to the edge and I might make contact with the cell wall behind me, but neither happened.

One second, Two seconds, my fall didn't end, I was still falling, and infront of me what I saw was-

Everything black, everything around me was dark. I could not see anything, and it was getting bigger. How did I know the endless darkness, that suddenly filled my view, was getting bigger?

In that darkness, there stood a door-sized opening. And beyond that door, I saw a hall, covered with snow, people inside glass cells, and a broken sculpture of ice, and that door was getting farther and farther.

I realized that I had fallen into one of the cells, which was shattered by our esteemed professor, Kurtis Allen, but I was not bothered by that at the moment.

Beyond the door, I saw Lisa, with a baffled expression. And even beyond her where the previous glass was shattered, I saw three existences looking past that, Ducas, Valerie, and Persephone.

Looking at them all I realized that their presence is what has altered the things in the script. Even with that realization, all I could roar inside my mind was-

' Why they are here?! '
