All the powers of hell FINALE

After going through all the said processes, I found my way in hell. I fell into the pit with a loud thud. Yes, I bumped my head on some hot rock but that was not the point. The point was what stood before me. A demon. A mighty, giant, flaming demon.

"Raarhhh!" The demon growled.

My heart started to beat very fast. The demon was as tall as my palace castle and as huge or even huger than a Cyclops. It had crackles of flames all over it's black body. It's body looked like wood but sounded like iron when he beat his hand on it.

"Oh lights." I muttered, looking around to see if I could escape. My sword was lost and I only realized it at that moment, but even if it was there, I Nardin Ryan... Oh, Nardin Eldrago would never fight such a huge demon. Just so laughable for someone who has come all the way to kill the devil, Satan himself in his kingdom.

The demon's eyes flamed with fury when I landed.

He growled and scowled at me before he raised his hand and that was when I noticed he had a big axe with him.

What did he even need that for? He was huge enough already and had long and sharp claws to devour whoever or whatever he wanted to do easily so why does he have to carry an axe huger than a human.

I quickly scanned the area while slowly moving back, away from the demon. Just in time I saw a pathway. That pathway was just a human size. I was certain no demon as huge as this one here would be able to pass through it. I quickly drew out a dagger from my bag and threw it aiming straight at the demon's right eye, and luckily it landed successfully on it.

"Arrghh!" The demon screamed and threw his axe to the ground while crackles of flame fell off his eyes.

He writhed in pain while I quickly ran through that pathway.

"Pweeh. That was easier than I thought." I said to myself as I stopped to figure out my next move almost half way into the pathway. I could not get a moment to think as the ground started to vibrate under my feet. Just then the walls of the pathway started to fall apart and there came the demon I thought I defeated heading towards me in rage and thirst for vengeance. He seemed okay. One would not even know he was hurt just a while ago. How stupid of me to forget how supernatural beings could heal. What was I even thinking when I decided to face Satan.

I quickly started to run further into the pathway while the demon followed me. I was panting and almost out of breath but I kept running. The demon would not even let me rest. The entire pathway was warm and gradually started to turn hot as I ran further inside. I didn't mind. After all, I was between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Well, I decided running further inside would be better than just standing there and waiting for the angry demon to shred my living body into disturbing corpse. It was only after a few seconds of thinking that running was the better option that I realized it was no different from letting the demon lay it's claws on me. There was another deep pit covered in huge flames, more like an inferno. It was way bigger than the first pit I fell into. I immediately and abruptly stopped as soon as it came into sight. I turned around to see the demon almost close to me. The walls still fell to make road for him.

'oh, this is bigger than being between the devil and the deep blue sea. Right now, I stand between the devil and hell. Should I just die by it's hands or burn to death'

Using backward motions, I was getting away from the demon which already reduced his pace. While doing that, I didn't realize how close I was to the pit of hell.

I kept moving away from the demon and before I could think of turning back, I was already falling into the pit.

Meanwhile back in the kingdom, the palace servants ran Helter skelter on the death of the Queen. They mourned the death of Queen Charlotte even yet they did not know what killed her. According to their tradition, they wasted no time in burying the Queen as demanded by law before discussing to decide the coronation of Prince Liam. Everything had to go okay so the Kingdom could recover from whatever is happening or has happened.

At that time, back in hell, my eyelids fluttered, shook and wanted to open. I could feel the pain all over my face. My face was burning from hurt and soreness. At first I couldn't tell where I was but just as slowly, my eyes fluttered open and I realized I was in the presence of the devil with my hands tied to my back. On some wounds on my skin, I could see my bone. I was tied so tightly that without any help, I will never be able to escape.

"Argh." I groaned in pain and kissed my teeth. The pain was unbearable.

A demon rushed me, dragged me up from the ground and forced me to bow to the devil sitted on his throne.

"Now bow before the Lord of hell." It grumbled as it pressed my head to the ground while I was on my knees.

"Let her go." The devil spoke in a loud thundering voice and in abruptly obedience to the devil's order, the demon quickly released it's pressure on me.

"Yes sir." It responded and went back to it's position.

I raised my leg to get a look at the devil. I expected to see a hideous creature but rather I saw a normal looking man sitting on the throne with two demons standing just beside him.

I didn't know what to say. Oh lights I must be very stupid to even think I could come into hell, kill the devil and go back home like nothing happened.

"Stupid humans." The devil said and chuckled.

"I gave my soul to you already so let the girl go." A woman's voice spoke with great Confidence.

I looked around for the voice and there emerged a beautiful woman who looked flawless even in the flames.

"Queen Charlotte?" I mumbled in shock.

"Release the girl, Satan." He authoritative voice ordered.

"We had a deal." Queen Charlotte said.

"A deal you broke." Devil responded.

"Still." Queen Charlotte said looking at the devil straight into the eyes.

I could not comprehend what was really going on but I knew that apart from that deal, those duo knew something else.

I could see the hunger to punish me in the devil's eyes but he could not satisfy his hunger. He struggled between following Charlotte's order and doing his will before finally he growled loudly and before I knew it, I was flying into the air through nothing and BAM! I was in the middle of the road on a horse, untied though still hurt.

"Did Queen Charlotte just command the devil? How did she do that?" I mumbled and forgetting about my pain that moment I quickly directed my horse into galloping home as fast as it could.

The palace gates were left opened and unguarded so I hurriedly made my way in. On jumping out of the horse, I rushed towards the throne room but the guards at the door quickly stopped me.

"Excuse me?" I said in confusion.

"We can't let peasants into the throne room, slave." The guard said blocking my way with his spare and frowning his face in disgust.

"What? Peasant? No. Okay I get it. I'm covered in burn but it's me. Nardin Eldrago." I said waving.

"Get away mad fellow." The second guard said.

I wanted to fight my way in but my burns hurt but just in time, Liam emerged in his royal robe.

"Oh thank you lights." I said and got to him. The guards wanted to stop me but he signaled them to let me be.

"Laim, my Lord. I saw mother, Queen Charlotte. I don't know, I don't understand if this is all real... It's like... Where's she? I mean..." I could not even speak well. I was in tension.

"Who are you?" Liam asked looking at me strangely.

"What?" I raised my eyebrows and mumbled in shock. "It's me. Nardin. Your wife. Nardin Ryan." I said.

"I'm not married." Liam said as he scoffed.

"No. No no. Is this a joke? We're married Liam." I said.

Liam rolled his eyes and turning to the guard who stood beside him he spoke. "I'm sure she's hungry. Send for some food and wine from the royal meal and send her home." He spoke.

"Liam what are you saying." I asked still in shock. "I don't want your food or wine. What is wrong with you." I said almost tearing up but Liam ignored me and left.

My eyes were filled with tears. "What just happened."

"I'll get you some food and wine. I'm sure you'll feel better after eating." The guard said politely unlike the others.

"I don't need it." I said and releasing myself from the grasp of the other guards I started to walk away.

"Shouldn't we keep her in detention? I think she's run mad or something." The arrogant guard said.

"Let her be and never speak to her like that again." He said.

"Can you go home?" He echoed to me but I ignored him and left.

I came back to the palace severally hoping Liam would tell me it was all jokes but it never happened. Infact, he ordered his guards to tie me up for flogging the next time I was seen around the palace. It was at that moment I realized Liam truly did not recognize me so I left.

I left, not to give him the space he wanted but to seek solution to this...
