Lara Carter, eighteen years old, was forced to sign a marriage contract at the age of sixteen to Scott Miller, a.k.a Blade, the person she feared, by her grandfather. After signing the contract, she runs away from home.

Brent had already left a few hours ago, but until now, I couldn't believe what I found out. Not only me, but Owen, Ashley, and Cherry. 


After he said that Lara was his sister, he hurriedly left because he was so scared of Lara. The latter has no plan of telling us that Brent is her brother because of fear for his safety. She only plans to tell me that Brent is the one she knows inside the mafia.  And after Brent accidentally spilled out their secret, she was so mad at his brother that she beat him, and only stopped when Homer pulled her away from him and asked Owen to hold her.


Brent grabs that chance to leave and Homer helps him and drives him home.


"You don't trust us, that's why you don't want to tell us about Brent?" I asked after a few minutes of silence passed around us.


"Of course,  I trust all of you. I'm just scared that someone will hear us. Owen quickly closed the door as well as the windows.
