She was like a beautiful pure royal blue sky, or like the deep blue sea, a prosperous peaceful green. She had a crown adorn with seashells and flowers. She seemed warmer than a sunset, mysterious as a twilight, and more beautiful than a stardust. Fragments of memories flowed in my head, millenniums, no, eons of memories exploded in my head. All from my life as a primordial to when I was a never-ending reincarnated sack of flesh. I started to lose consciousness from absorbing all that cosmic power. Everything went black and silent, a peaceful feeling emerged from me.
"Awake, my son." Khaos motherly voice echoed through nothingness
"Mo…mother? Is that you? What happened? Why do I feel like life itself was sucked out of me a thousand times?" I asked.
"Yes, my son, I'm here. To answer your question, it's because you've finally awaken my love." She said with a comforting voice.
"Awaken? Mother, you almost faded away completely because he decided to become Mr. Oh Big and mighty in one go! If I wouldn't have had been here on time, he would've absorbed us all in just minutes and only he would've survived! By the way, I'm Gaia, Mother Earth, as your people know." Gaia said.
"I did what? But why, and how?" I said still in a daze.
"You were about to suck us all up just because of some mortals!" Gaia yelled.
"My children, stop… No… Yes, stop, don't fight. Raseryx didn't mean to do that. What he did, no, how he reacted was entirely my fault."
"Mother, don't make excuses for him just because we were able to bring him back."
"Gaia, I threatened to destroy earth and its inhabitants, including the boy and girl he's so fawned of."
"You did what! Why would you…"
The horrible feeling Khaos had just gone through, unexpectedly faintly started coming back. The two deities looked at Raseryx and how his aura started growing again. Only this time he had more control over it. Raseryx was overwhelmed with anger just by hearing what his mother had just said.
"My child, stop this! It was an empty threat, I would never do such thing. I love you, I love all of my creation. You are precious to me, and I would never do something that would hurt you. As a matter a fact, your planet was due to end millenniums ago, but seeing how found you were of the planet, we imbued the core of the planet with cosmic power. As a result, you can say in a way its alive. Without us knowing, it evolved, you can say he's comparable to a pet."
"A pet? Wait, Earth is alive? Like us?"
"Yes, my son. It's now alive and it's our gift to you. Gaia took care of the planet, protected him for you and will keep doing so until you're back to us fully."
"I'm here, am I not? Why can't I just have it know and take care of it?"
"You're not strong enough, you were a mortal. Have you forgotten?" Gaia hissed back.
"Yes, my son, you're back but you have to reclaim your place to be able to take care of it and the whole cosmos."
"So, what you're saying is if I become stronger, I can go back to earth?"
"Yes, Raseryx. If you become strong, the planet will become yours and only yours. You can even make those mortals you call family, immortal. I'll even bestow part of my power to them if the time comes. It's really up to you, but..."
"What? You can do that? I'll do it! What do I have to do?" Raseryx said ecstatically
"Wait, mother you mustn't do that. They're just mortals. Why would you bestow your infinite power with them? You mustn't spoil him too much just because he has come back to us!" Gaia said enraged.
"Oh, I'm mother earth, as you people call me. Here, here, mother will give you, life. Oh, I'll give food, and mosquitos too. Oh, how kind I am." Raseryx mocked in a childish bicker in a whisper.
"Look how he's acting mother, just like a child!"
"I am only 17 you know. You old hag!"
"What did you? Yes, I am older just by a few eons but you're not far behind. Now, I'm going to whoop your…"
"Stop this nonsense at once! Raseryx, my son, you are the heir of the cosmos, behave as such. Gaia, restrain yourself, you are the oldest. Now, to the matter at hand. Raseryx, you must regain your title and become a God. It'll take time for you to get there, we must find a suitable universe for you to level up and become a low-level God at least."
"Universe? What do you mean by universe?" I asked with a curiosity tone.
"As in all existing matter. If you can't understand the basic concept of the universe, let's not get in the multiverse." Gaia retorted.
"The multiverse exist?!" I asked exhilarated.
Mother Khaos laughed so loud. "Of course, my son. I had to do something to amuse myself all this time. Would you like to see it, my son?" Khaos said humorously.
Before I could even answer, Khaos waved her hand. You could see how the vast infinite space started rippling. Space itself moved like a curtain letting wind come in. Suddenly, the curtain just disappeared, and the ripples turned into a square-like doorway. Upon entering, you see an infinite number of rows. I got close to one, the color was astonishing. It was a white, red, black, and violet color coming out of them.
"Each one of them contain trillions of galaxies in them and you will choose to go into one of them, my son. I can also create one just for you. I will give you all of your powers, the whole set. No one will be able to deny you're a true God. You'll start as a level one, don't want to make it too easy. I'll have to send in some low-level gods, demon gods, demon lords, and of course, a true fairy god as well. Oh, and we should send some low-level gods to assist you. No one will be able to stand on your way. It'll seem like a grain of sand fighting what in your world was called the Mariana Trench. We can also…"
"Mother, no! Do you doubt me? Do you think I can't do it? Do you really think of me as a worthless worm who can't do anything at all? I know I was just a mere human but now I see why I was so fawn of them. Yes, I'm not going to lie, they're like parasites. They're self-centered, ignorant, dishonest, arrogant, greedy, and the most unreliable creature ever created; nonetheless, they can also be kind, courageous, wholehearted, loyal, open-minded, and when they need to, they also band together to achieve anything they want. Therefore, I want to earn my way to become a primordial god who will reach to the top on my own. I don't want anyone to think or say my mother gave me my post."
"You are my Raseryx, no doubt. I'll humor you in this path, my son. Nevertheless, I will send you with at least one or two OP skills and that's not up for discussion. I know where to send you, where it'll be difficult but also possible for you to reach your goal. Heed of word, my son, you'll be able to die in this world and die for good. You have a mortal soul and will be able to die. Do not thread, you know this world or at least might know something about it. As for your powers, we'll choose randomly."
I was happy that I was given the chance to do things on my own. I wanted to prove to myself that I was good enough to inherit mother's place. Yet, I was scared I wasn't going to be able to do it. I wanted to have Amia and Valerio with me forever. I would obviously give them the choice to become gods or to just keep reincarnating.
Suddenly, mother clapped her hands and as she opened them, hundreds of lights appeared before me. She explained that each light was a skill and I had to choose randomly, since I wanted to do it without anyone's help. Before she told me to choose a skill, she asked me to pick a number from one through five. Not thinking too much about it, I chose number 3. After that, she gave me a low groan. She presided to explain that the number I choose was going to be the number of skills I would gain upon arriving to the new world.
She explained that the world I was going to arrive, was very fairly new. The planet itself would be around one thousand years. She said I knew the world quite well, especially about certain aspects of the rudimentary system. Subsequently, I kept looking at the floating lights that had appeared in front of me and started choosing. The lights had a white vibrant color as if they were whispering to me to choose the first my sight fell upon. For the first one, I chose the one that had a menacing feeling. The light slowly started getting closer to me and just stood still shoulder length. I proceeded to choose one that had a constant flow of light oozing out. The light did the same as the other one, but this one went to stand in-front of my chest. As for the last one, I was going to choose the one right at the middle, but a small twinkle capture my attention. It gave me a familiar warm feeling and without thinking twice, I choose that one. Khaos smiled with delight, showing she knew what skill that was. Suddenly, all the lights started spinning rapidly around. Vanishing in a grand of light, I disappeared to where a new world awaits.
