P.E. Competition 2

The loud cheers from other student resounding on the school field. Men's relay is ongoing with the Class 11-A leading until now. After the humiliation she receives before from other, Kinrue waits under the tree away from other while her friends are on standby if ever the woman relay starts. Sky is clear and the wind blows mild, which makes her sleepier despite of what's going on. Amidst of the tumultuous sound, she immense herself in peace alone—close both eyes.

"You seem doing well, Kinrue..." She flinch when a familiar voice speaks to her. The moment she opens her eyes again, she looks around, but no one is there. Her body trembles and clenches both fists tight. Both eyes roam around to make sure it's a hallucination.

"Rue. Kinrue Cienfuegos, are you listening to me?" She startles when Camie shout.

"C-Camie? W-what?"

Camie frown, looks around the area. "Did someone talk to you? Why you're sweating a lot?"

"I-It's nothing,"

"Let's go, the woman relay will start in a few minutes."

She nods her head and follows Camie to the field, still looking around.

In the middle of waiting for their turn, she almost jumps in shock when someone stands beside her, but it's only Raven Auclair who watches the last batch of men's relay. Her left brow raise and ears twitch in annoyance, cross both arms and turn her body in his direction.

"Can't you go over there? Let's not see each other for the whole day, okay?" She utter but he just roll his eyes and looks in front. "Y-you..."

"Calm down, Rue." Camie whisper while tapping her back.

Instead of wasting her time in a man like him, she just wait in silent for their turn. She's not in the mood to argue with someone not worth of it.

After a few minutes, Mr. Paco calls the first lineup of woman relays. Like what happened before, it's the same set of group but this time there's a four member representative in each section. The first one in the line is Ashley, next is Camie, next is Jasmine, one of their sassy classmate and last to run on the finish line is Kinrue. It's not obvious to her physique, but she's good at running, a former track and field member way back in middle school. On the other side, the last one to run in the finish line is Arisa. She tied her hair in a pigtail to focus.

The moment they heard a whistle sound from Mr. Paco, the first runner run holding a baton. Another loud cheer came on the field to support the Class 11-A. Ashley almost got tripped while running. They boo her but didn't bother by it and continue to run. In the end, the Class 11-A representative passes the baton first. It's only a matter of few seconds interval and they can still turn the table but the second and third runner of Class 11-B left. The third representative from the other class is part of the track and field team. On the last runner, Arisa went ahead in more than half seconds, but Kinrue try to catch up on her. In a matter of time, she really catch up on her and run side by side in a full sprint. She heard them shout 'boo', but ignored it and look forward to the finish line where Mr. Miller stands. Five meters sprint left, she has a guts she'll win this match at last but someone trip her on the way while running on the side where those students watch. She falls flat on the ground. It made the baton slip on her hand. Despite of what happened, those students continue to cheer Arisa Haruna. She grit her teeth in annoyance and stands up again to get the baton in front of a student foot, but a laugh escape from someone near and kicks the baton as the whistle blow, a sign the relay is done.

"Serves you right!" A woman mumbles.

"Y-you. What the hell are you doing? This is cheating. If this is an actual relay, I'll kick your limbs hard." She shouts that catch all their attention, even the teachers.

"Ms. Cienfuegos, what's going on here? Is there any problem?" Mr. Paco came to check the situation, but she walk out.

On the way to the outdoor faucet, which is near the open basketball court, she bumps into Arisa Haruna, who's surrounded by her classmates, including Raven. They look at each other, but she ignores her and continues to walk. Now, she calms down a bit, she can feel the pain in her right knee. She shrugs her head in disbelief. Until she came in front of the outdoor faucet, she open it and wash her face to cool down.

She's about to go back when she heard a familiar voice near her. It's from someone she admired a lot until now. He's Lorcan. She turn her gaze towards the open basketball court and saw him together with his teammate playing a match. After the confession day, they never meet again. He looks fine and comfortable.

"Hey, Raven." She startle when someone shout behind her and saw the handsome man in the cafe yesterday.

"Lewis, what are you doing here? Don't tell me Molly told you to transfer here?" She looks on the right side and saw Raven walk towards Lewis.

"Of course... I can't say no to her," he chuckles before his gaze turn to Kinrue. "Oh, you're the part-timer on the cafe shop. The two of you, are you in an actual relationship?" She flinch on what the man said.

"Tsk. She's an annoying pest in my sight," Raven snickered.

"What did you say? An annoying pest? Are you pertaining it to me?" She chortled. "Y-you... I'm in a bad mood since yesterday, but I want to kill you for real."

Kinrue was about to walk towards him with a clench fist, but a pain from the wound on her knees throb, it made her went off balance. She falls down with left knee and both hands on the ground to support her weight.

"You're an empty head. If you want to bow like that in front of me, then do better," Raven said.

She hisses. "Shut up!"

"Miss, are you okay? You look in pain..." Lewis come towards her—offer his hand to help, but Kinrue didn't accept it.

Without a word, she stands up on her own and glare to Raven. "Argh!"

"There's a blood on your pants,"

"It's nothing, just get out of my sight."

She walks backwards and leans on the cemented sink on the outdoor faucet. It's just a simple wound, but guess a deep one.

"Should we escort you to the infirmary? If you don't want, I have a first-aid kit here." Lewis utter while getting a pouch inside his bag. "I don't know how to treat someone with first-aid so, Raven will do it."

They both gaze at him with an annoyed look, but it didn't bother him and give the kit to Raven.

"Go, treat her."

"Lewis, I don't need to do something like that and besides, I'm on an errand, so treat her on your own."

"The annoying man is right, this wound isn't big, no need to treat it," Kinrue give a force laugh.

"Are you serious? Even a minor scratch needs to be treated right away so it won't get infected or else it will become worst."

"I said, I'm fine, so the two of you can go." She gives a sign to go away from her position.

"You heard her loud and clear so, I'll go now."

He's about to walk, but stops after a three steps and seem his body freeze while staring in one direction. It's as if he saw a ghost of yesterday.

"No, I change my mind. I'll treat her right away." He walks back, snatches the kit in Lewis' hand. "Go back, Lewis, and stay away from us. Go."

Even though he doesn't understand what he meant about those words, Lewis leaves them alone. A deep sigh escapes his mouth as he looks towards Kinrue who has a question mark paste on her face. He hiss while he squatted in front—about to fold the pants above his knee-length, but she slap his hand away.

"What are you doing? Don't be nice. You're a creep." She said in shock.

"Do you think I want to serve you like this? I'd rather watch you kneel in front of me than me kneel in front of you." He folded the pants' edge above her knee.

"Stop it. What's wrong with you? Get off."

"Don't move. Look over there, the monster evil is watching us so cooperate or else you want to experience another hell day? If you dare, then do it alone."

"W-what did you sa—"

She didn't finish her words when she heard a flash of camera on the ground floor hallway. Both eyes widened when she noticed Mollyana Auclair, her boss, with a wide smile on her face—waves in the right hand. She gulp as the memory of yesterday came to her mind. For once, she agreed to cooperate with the man, although it's against her will. It's much better than to receive a punishment from her evil boss. Yesterday is still a nightmare so, she doesn't want to experience another day of it. She'll might get old by twenty years in frustration.

"Argh! Can't you do it properly?"

"Shut up! You're annoying."

"Argh! I told you it hurts. Don't press it too hard."

"Shut up!"

"Y-you... A-ack..."
