Back to the Loop Again

Kinrue walk upstairs with a heavy steps and sighs. She feels tired after all those chaotic scenes happened in a single day. Amidst the creepy silence lingers in the whole building, she suddenly realize the jacket Lance lend her before.

For a moment, she forgot to give it back because of how talkative and straightforward the man is.

A sigh escape her mouth before she walk again, until she reach the fourth floor. Before she can even come into her room, she saw a familiar figurine of a man beside the door. He's leaning on the wall with cross arm.

The lights on the hallway isn't fixed yet, but even without it she knows who's the man. As soon as their gaze met, Kinrue can't help but look away, cursing deep inside.

"You're really a stubborn one, sh*thead. What are you doing here? Go home, we don't need to talk about something any more." She said without looking at him, heading straight to the door to unlock it.

"I'm sorry,"

"You're apology doesn't mean a thing to me so leave. Don't forget that you already hit a triple strikes on me in just a day. Go home."

"Kinrue, please listen to me. I know, I did something terrible and broke my promise to you. I hurt you, shout at you, blame you, told you some trash words without knowing what you feel and I turn my back on you. Those terrible things, I did it to you. I'm being insensitive, I'm sorry." She heaves another sigh, shuffling her hair.

"Da*mn it, can't you just move on? We end it all so let it be and stop clinging to me. We're just in a contractual relationship so use this chance to get close to your woman and scram into my life." She shouted on top of her lungs before turning to him. "I shouted those words for you to hear, did it even reach your f*cking stubborn ear? Leave me alone."

She's about to push him away, but Raven grab her hand and pinned her on the door without breaking his stares. Kinrue didn't flinch or move away rather stare back at him. Before she knew it, his lips already touching hers. Her eyes turns wide-open in surprise, trying to release herself from his grip, but it's nonsense. Raven's gaining strength whenever he feels mad or annoyed.

Since she can't move his hand, Kinrue close her mouth and not responds to him. Not until their gaze met. His eyes is as cold as an ice, his grips tightens too. It's as if all his anger and frustration are pouring on this kiss. He didn't know how to show his emotion any more and seems like he's facing a defeat all at once.

Kinrue felt his grips loosens up, but it went around her waist to wrap it around while his other hand raise her chin before holding the back of her head.

Those little actions gives shivers down her spine and without any warning he pull her closer to him.

"H-he—mmph?!" Before she can finish her words, Raven uses that little chance to kiss her.

It seems like her mind gone blank as she felt his tongue inside as the kiss deepens. She feels her body trembles, knees about to give up because of the sensation. It's as if she's melting away from a single kiss. But she can't help it, his kisses is differs from before. It's rougher and he has no control of his body.

After almost a minute, Raven separate with her, but it doesn't take long because she kiss her back again. She push him away, but her strength's gone. Before she notice it, they fall down on the bed. She have no idea, when did the door open or how did they come on the bed. All she can remember is his kiss that melting her away.

As soon as they separate again, they both gasping for an air. Kinrue look away from him, who's on top of her while Raven stare at her.

Without hesitation, he remove her eyeglass, wiping the tears falling from her eyes.

"Look at me," he whisper, full of gentleness as he caress her cheeks.

Even though she don't want, her body move on its own to turn and look at him straight to his eyes. But as their gaze met again, they end up kissing each other.

It's a quick passionate kiss.

"W-why're you doing all of these? Let's stop."

"I can't. I can't do it. Please, not now." He said, burying his face on the side of her neck. "I don't know what's going on with me, but I'm not ready to let go of this play. P-Please stay with me for a little while, just a little time. Don't push me away. I'm sorry."

She didn't saw him, but she knows he's crying again. The tough, coldhearted, emotionless man she met on the confession day is crying because of the likes of her.

It's not part of her plan. It's not supposed to end up in this scene. Everything went well, until he came in this state.

A tear falls from her eyes as she hears him keep apologizing.

In the middle of this unexpected situation, they heard a phone ringing. It's an alarm tone for an event that Kinrue set before. She plans to greet him as soon as his birthday come, but her plan doesn't go the way she wants it to be.

"Hey sh*thead, it's your birthday." She said that made him look at her. "A birthday boy shouldn't cry on his special day."

Kinrue wipes his tears away before staring at him.

"It's really awkward, why do you need to ruined everything I planned? It's the same since the first time we encounter each other. You're born to ruin my peaceful life."

"S-sorry,"

"Do you want anything? I didn't prepare a gift for you because I didn't expect you coming here so..."

"I don't need anything but you. Stay a little longer, just stay."

She chuckles. "You, you should take responsibility of me this time around."

A smile escape from Raven's mouth. "No take backs, you'll stay with me."

"Darn it. You win."

He caress her cheeks and lower his head to give her another kiss on the lips. This time, Kinrue responds to him.

A sweet, gentle and passionate kiss.

***

The next morning, she wakes up because of the noises around. She thought it comes from outside, but the continuous flashes of camera lingers on her ear. Without any hesitation, she sit up while rubbing her eyes. She feels Raven's hands tightened around her waist because of a simple movement.

"Am I having another nephew or a niece?"

Kinrue jolted out upon hearing a familiar voice. She look on her right side and saw Molly standing with her phone on the hand. Her eyes sparkles, full of hopes because of a silly thought running in her mind.

"B-Boss?! W-what are you doing here? How did you come inside?" She asked while tapping Raven's hand to wake up.

"The door isn't locked and the owner let me come here. But I never expect, what I've seen with my own two eyes. I got a pretty nice shot." She said out of excitement. "Since when did the two of you sleep together, doing that thing?"

"B-boss... I-It's not what you think, we're not doing something here."

Molly glare at her with suspicion. "My dear brother's naked and you're wearing his polo shirt uniform. I can even see a hickey under your collarbone. You can't fool my eyes."

"A-argh! I-It's not..."

"What the hell? You're too loud empty head, I'm still tired on what we did before. Let's just sleep again." Her eyes widened in surprise upon hearing Raven's voice.

"Tired on what we did before?" A playful grin form into Molly's lips.

"You fool, sh*thead! Wake up! How can you make everything worst? Wake up, you sh*tty brat!" She shouted on top of her lungs. Even with a half eyes closed, he sit up. "Explain everything,"

"H-huh? Explain what?"

"B-boss is here, you d*mned man!" she whisper, glaring to him.

Raven gaze beside her and saw a woman standing with a grin pasted on her face. "Molly it's just yo—huh? M-Molly? What the hell are you doing here?" His sleepy, half close eyes turns wide-open.

"Ahem. I came here because I didn't saw my dear Kinrue's name on the guest list for later celebration, but I guess you're inviting her personally with bonus advance gift. Well, I already have a nephew so make sure to give me a beautiful, cute niece." She laughed that made Kinrue sigh, facepalming herself out of embarassment.

Even if they explained the situation, there's no way Molly will believe them. Anyone will misinterpret their relationship, Raven's half naked while Kinrue wears his white long polo sleeve shirt uniform. It's a very long story, but it just happened.

Yesterday, after their conversation an awkwardness along with embarrassment engulfs them.

For them to lessen it, they bought an alcoholic drink. It's a token of early celebration for his birthday too. They drunk six cans of beer and played some daring games. Both of them seems a lightweight drinker and got drunk. Raven complaints about her wearing other mans clothes so he push her to take it off and wear his and he end up being half naked.

About the hickeys, it's part of their daring game. It's not only her who left a mark, she bite him too. They don't remember much about the rest.

It's the truth behind the misunderstanding, but in Molly's case something more deeper happened.

"Molly, listen to me. It's not what you thin—"

"Although I want a niece from both of you, next time make sure to use some protection."

Raven notice Kinrue's face turns red along with her ears as she look down out of embarrassment. He heaves a sigh and look away.

"Before I forgot, I came here to take Kinrue to the mansion. I prepare everything there, so take her by yourself Raven."

"W-what? Why in the mansion?"

"It's your birthday. The venue is there, don't worry mom and dad isn't there, they'll be back late at night."

"Wait, Molly..."

"See you around guys,"

Before they can stop her, she's gone like a flash of light. They both take a heavy breathe before looking at each other with worry and disbelief.

"I'm sorry about this, I didn't expect her to come." Raven said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"There's no way we can escape from boss, I can't believe she misinterpret this situation. It's your fault, why do you even force me to wear this clothes and you're half naked. Besides, I told you not to put a hickey on a visible part, but..."

"I'm jealous." She flinches on his words. "Argh! Let's go back to sleep. It's still too early."

He pulled her back to his side, hugging her tight.
