"What am I going to be doing?"

"Why am I even cozily sitting here? I want to go to mother."

Christopher could not even frown as he could not move on his own. Days had passed but he continued to be trapped in situations he couldn't freely leave.

He looks at the long empty dining table in front of him, wondering what the point of him sitting in the quiet dining area is. It was just him and none of his servants were around.

Haa—

He sighed internally as he pondered how he could kill a god. He was itching to know who was controlling everyone's actions, as he badly wanted to smack their faces into ruin.

Christopher knows that he heard the whole truth of the world from Anni, but whenever he tries to think about the content of Anni's revelation, he seems unable to recall it. Since then, he felt like his own body wasn't his anymore.

"Why am I even growing so fast? All I want to be is my mother's son."
