"You were anxious that Christopher wouldn't return soon?" 

Mila asked again after hearing Princess Ginalou open up to her.

They went to the princess quarters and had a few snacks on their table. 

She doesn't have any problem acting superior toward the princess, even if she doesn't have a title anymore. It was the princess who kept treating her like she was still the duchess and also took her offer to keep their relationship close as the princess's mother-in-law. 

"I-it's not like I didn't trust your words. I am just anxious." 

Princess Ginalou fidged and fiddled with her skirt while avoiding Mila's gaze. 

"B-but what if he won't come on time? Father will use this to make us not marry in the end." 

"Don't worry. Even if he doesn't appear on time, I will make sure you will be marrying the real Christopher. It's the other thing you were worried about, right?"
