"Anyway, what do you prefer? Should I call you? Mila or Ethel?"
"Mila."
Mila was perplexed with her own response. She didn't mean to answer Mila's name right away. She wanted to change it to Ethel, but Greyson responded with a short chuckle before saying, "It's Mila then."
"No. I mean."
"It's okay. You're Mila. Don't worry."
Mila doesn't get what Greyson means by those. She still tried to make Greyson spill out everything he knew while they were inside the elevator on the way to his unit, but Greyson was tight-lipped.
"Come in. Feel free to feel at home." Greyson guided her inside a studio-type room that was too clean with so few things inside, as if no one had been staying there for such a long time.
"Hey, tell me, how long have you been living here?" Mila asked. She thinks that Greyson was only recently thrown out into the real world.
