CHAPTER 15 Testing Out The VR Game

Being a soldier was still one of his late fathers wishes for him, his father will always talk to him concerning the state of the world and how he was able to ride up the ranks to reach where he is.

Earlier during the day when Stefan was going through his phone, he made a call to Raymond telling him to meet him at the city park so they could both explore together.

Looking around everything, the guardian noticed that this city is more advanced than during his time of the old where even vehicles weren't available. "Hey kid, what year is this?" The man asked with anxiousness in his voice, like he can't wait to hear a reply.

"We are presently in the year '3022'" Stefan replied back with out even being bothered cause the view of this place was amazing.

Getting a call in his phone, he replied it and after some seconds of talking he hanged up the call. Raymond arrived and sat down at the side bench next to his friend. He was clad in his pants a plain white top and his shoe making him look simple and also cool.

They were looking good and even some passers bye had to wave them especially the girls with flushed cheeks. They were both discussing what to do that will make their weekend fun and also not boring.

"How about we have a little spar, and then we stake a price for the winner" Stefan suggested to his friend while nudging his arm.

"No, how about we discuss of the things you have tried doing with your spatial ring?" Raymond changed the topic to something else with a smile not leaving his face.

"Well I haven't done much with mine just using it to exchange somethings even in the public" Stefan replied.

Stefan was thinking about how he was going to show his silver hair to his friend without him freaking out, in the morning before leaving home he covered his head with the hood of his jacket so even Marcel won't see it.

They both headed to Raymond residence and as usual he was always the only one home, he got no siblings and his parents were both scientists that takes their job seriously. Most times Stefan will stay for weeks with Raymond so he won't be home alone.

They both went to his room and Stefan removed the hood that has been covering his head throughout the ride. What came out of Raymond mouth was only a gasp, his mouth was left opened cause this isn't something someone sees every day.

Just yesterday he was having a blonde hair and now he is now having a plane silver hair that glitters under the sun light, and it wa even longer than his previous blonde hair making him look more beautiful.

During their discussions through out, Stefan guardian stayed quiet without even uttering a single word. But when Stefan showed Raymond his hair the guardian warned him not tell anyone about his secret, not even his best friend as he clames.

Raymond was a hard guy to impress but what he just saw was giving him an hard time to understand. At the moment he was seeing his friend as a different person entirely, now he understands why Stefan has been having that hood since morning.

"So can you tell me how you got a silver hair, like that one?" Raymond asked his friend out of curiosity.

"Well it's a long story, and can't tell any one about it" Stefan replied.

Shrugging his shoulders Raymond didn't bother to pry any further, that because he knows Stefan won't agree in telling him, so he thought about ways he can change the topic of discussion. "How about we go play VR game, you know you haven't tried it once and if you still don't like it then the bills will be on me" Raymond asked.

"What is a VR game kid?" Guardian asked Stefan after seeing the excitement in the eyes of Raymond when he talked about it. "It's a visual reality game where you are being transported to the game world and you can kill as much opponents as you wish, but it won't affect them in reality" Stefan explained in one breath.

"How about you play it today for my sake, I really want to see that VR game your friend is talking about".

"You know I can't say no to my guardian, so I have to" Stefan replied with falling shoulders. "Then let's head out dude" Raymond said excitedly.

They both went to the nearest VR gaming center in Raymonds area. When they arrived there they were both welcomed by the receptionist who had a big smile on her face. She gave them their pass card to the pod they will be using and also gave Stefan a guarding manual, there was the number of the pod on the pass card leading them to the second floor of the building.

Arriving at the front of the pods, Stefan was giving the number 101 while Raymond had number 102. Stefan went through the VR manual and he discovered something he never knew could go on while in the VR pod.
