Trista's point of view
I checked the time after closing the file. In half an hour, I'll be done with work. Should I go home with him? However, being noticed didn't appear to be a good thing!
"Congratulations!" Suddenly, a beautiful feminine voice could be heard. When I looked up, I saw Emma.
"Ms. Emma, you're back," I welcomed her with a handshake and a cordial greeting.
"I heard you temporarily assumed the role of Ms. Sylvia. As a beginner, I'm astounded that you got such a good outcome in half a day." Emma was always holding my hand. Her remarks have a deeper meaning.
"Dear Ms. Emma, I'm honored. It's purely coincidental."
"Elroy, oh, he's only one of our company's directors. He explained that something really important had dropped at our department's gate around midday and inquired who was in the office at that time. It was around 12 o'clock."
Emma's remarks caused my heart to race. "I... I'm not sure."
