Chapter ３２

After calming Danica, I quickly went home and found that Edana was gone. It took me a while to find her again. I can’t let her leave me again, so I told her about the baby that was born three years ago.

“How is that possible?" She didn't believe it.

"If you don’t believe me, let’s have a maternal test tomorrow." The next day I took them both for the test, and the result showed that it was a parent-child relationship. She finally didn't try to leave anymore. I knew that Ted was my last chance of making her stay.

“But how come I have no feelings for my child?”

Edana’s questions made me nervous. I couldn't tell her that I had hypnotized her before and wiped her memories. I deliberately made an excuse to dodge the questions. She didn't recover her memory, so she believed me. Our affairs have been dealt with, but Danica's situation has become more and more confusing.
