Chapter 2

Suddenly I remembered that the Alpha had lectured me over and over again that I must not go out of the castle for a few days this afternoon, and that I would make him white hot if I went out.

Father has come to find me, which means the Alpha must know about it too. Thinking of the Alpha's cold, serious face, I grew more and more anxious and nervous.

But when I thought about the fact that tonight I would learn the truth about my mother the truth that I have been longing to know all these years, my heart pounded with excitement.

My father led me into the council room, and as soon as I looked up, I saw the Alpha sitting behind the table. His handsome face shone in the light, but it still gave off a chill that can send a shiver down your spine.

"Elvis, I brought Kolten," my father said to the Alpha with a smile, his voice very soft.

Elvis is also the Lord of the Star Castle, the Alpha of the Inferno Wolves, a legendary figure. When Elvis first ascended to the throne, a few Inferno Clan activists split the pack into several groups, and it was also the time when other clans were watching closely from the outside, constantly causing riots on the borders.

As the Alpha, Elvis was brave and resourceful, and within 30 years of his reign, he united the divided werewolves, shutting out the other clan that kept dropping the Inferno Pack, thus making the Inferno Pack one of the strongest clans.

When the other tribes saw this, they voluntarily allied with the Wolf Clan.

Elvis was even appointed as the leader of the alliance. Only the Frost Wolves not only refused to sign the peace pact, but hated the Inferno Wolves even more. The Frost Wolves are good at martial arts, and their priests are good at pharmacology and many forbidden arts. Currently, the Frost Wolf Clan is the biggest threat to the Inferno Wolf Clan.

"Kolten, do you know why you were summoned here today?" The Alpha took a sip of tea and looked at me with a smile and asked tenderly.

"I don't know ..." I've been afraid of the Alpha since I was a child, in the Alpha's eyes I'm a good boy, I've never disobeyed him, but he never knew that every time I hear his voice I couldn't help but flinch back to my father's side...

"I have called you here today to tell you the supreme secret of the Inferno Wolf Clan, a secret that concerns not only the survival of the Inferno Wolf Clan, but also the rise and fall of the entire Werewolf Clan! And that secret has something to do with you." The Alpha put down his cup of tea, looked at me and said seriously.

"Does it have something to do with me?" I was a little curious and stood there with my mouth open.

"Haven't you always wanted to know about your mother?"

My eyes widened and began to sparkle.

When I heard the words "mother," my heart quivered.

"Yes! I've heard the story, she was an Omega, and I've wondered for so many years what kind of woman she was, where she came from? How did she met father? And ......" I stammered.

"And how did she know you? How did you two fall in love with her? I want to know everything, if it’s not that offensive.

The Alpha chuckled, then his face became solemn, very solemn.

"Kolten, you must be prepared." Father said lightly, startling me.

"Your mother is not dead!”

"What, is she alive? Where is she?” I couldn't help but ask, I was so excited.

"He's no Omega either," the Alpha continued in a low voice, completely ignoring me who was full of surprise.

"Could my mother be a Beta? Where is she now? Why did she leave my father? Why isn't she by my side?" I couldn't help but ask as my inner waves raged.

The air froze for a moment, then a voice broke the silence.

"You were born of your father!"

I was in a daze. I couldn't believe this and laughed,

"Alpha, you've got to be kidding, I know you always like to joke."

I turned to my father.

"Father, this joke is not funny! My father is an Alpha, how can he give birth to me? Besides, how can he give birth to me alone?"

He coughed a few times, took a deep breath and heaved a sigh.

"Kolten, Elvis isn't joking with you, you really are my child, and you belong to him and me!" My father blushed, ducked his head, and spoke in a low, breathy voice.

"You are lying to me! How can that be! You are both alphas, how could you have given birth to me! That's impossible!" I cried out, unable to accept the truth, then I stumbled.
