Chapter 65

"What are you doing?" There was a roar at the door. It was Kolten's voice.

Instead of looking back, I held the baby in my arms.

"Put the baby down!" Kolten stormed up to me with a defensive look as if I was going to do something to the child.

The cub in my arms may have heard Kolten's voice and felt that his support had come, so he became more fearless. He was kicking around in my arms and leaning in the direction of Kolten. I don't know what to say, his eyes moist, as if I know he is the same.

Looking at Kolten, who was on the verge of an outbreak, I handed the child in his arms. He took over the child and looked at me defensively.

"What's the child's name?" I asked calmly.

"Hale."

"Good name."

"What do you want?" He was staring at me, his eyes full of vigilance and hatred.

"I just want to see you and the child." I looked at him and said, then approached him.
