Chapter 69

Kolten’s POV

I surrender myself for my people, and I can't let them sacrifice for me anymore.

I looked at Uncle Cooper in the crowd and nodded to him. Uncle Cooper said, "Let's not burden the prince. We are the reason why the prince is here. If we leave, they will not threaten the prince and other comrades."

They are right. Uncle Cooper is known to be prestigious in a tribe. After hearing what he said, the people shut up.

I look at Hale in Ewan's arms looking at me while sobbing as they walk away.

"Wait! Hale has to stay, too." Samuel's voice overhead.

"No, Hale has to leave with them." I looked up at Samuel.

"The decision is not up to you. You and the kid have to come with me. "

While I was arguing with Samuel, I heard Ewan's voice, "Hey! Hale, come back to me... "

It turns out that Ewan was distracted by the countless number of inferno wolf tribes. Hale snapped out of Ewan's arm. His small black body rushed to Samuel and me.
