Most relationships between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law have been difficult since ancient times, and Linda is faced with the same problem. “What are you doing here?” I asked in surprise. 


The one who pulled me back was Caroline. 


“I’m here because I missed you.” She spoke groggily. 


“Tonight is my wedding rehearsal party with Linda. You'd better not do anything stupid." I replied.
