Chapter １３

I came to her house and she was waiting for me outside wearing a black cap, a loose shirt, and tattered jeans she loves to wear when we were in high school. She looks cute and innocent in her outfit.

I miss those days that both of us were free and in love. I shook my head to erase our memories because it only hurts me and her. We were now heading to the villa I bought for her. Before we stepped outside the car, I blindfolded her eyes with a red cloth. 

"Walk slowly," I said to her while helping her to walk. 

This place is covered with palm trees and away from the neighborhood. No one will follow us here. 

"What are we doing? My heart is racing Kent you know!" Her voice was filled with excitement and uneasiness. 

We navigated the roadway until we reach the main door. At last were here. 

"This is not the gift you dream of but this can make us happy. Now take off your blindfold!" I ordered her and she took it slowly. 

I just prayed that she will like it.

I was surprised when she jump and hug me in joy. She looks like a kid and I am her daddy.

"Is this real?" She asked me while her eyes spark in excitement.

I simply smiled and nod my head. 

"Happy Birthday!" I greeted her and I unlocked the main door with my key and carried her inside like my bride. 

She wrapped her hands on my neck and sealed my lips with her kiss. Our kiss deepens when I slid my tongue inside. She parted her lips freely as I savor all the sweetness of her saliva.

Our lips parted as we get inside. We both smiled and giggled. 

"Thank you!" Lucy cheered up. 

"It's okay. Besides you're my mistress now so it's not good for you to stay in that old house. I want to protect the girl, right?" I told her. 

I went closer again to kiss her but she ignored it. I look at her eyes again and I forcibly clasp her hair and pulled her face closer to mine. 

"You're mine right? You had no reason to stop me!" I murmured and I pushed her on the couch. 

I tear her shirt and wandered my lips on her bare skin. 

"Kent, can we rest today. I'm not feeling well." She's now rejecting me. 

I stop and took a deep breath. 

"Why? Do you have another man? It's your first time to reject me!" I furiously asked her. 

Lucy shook her head. 

"I went to the clinic, this morning and the doctor told me to rest because it's bad for my health." She told me and I was confused. 

Is Lucy sick too? 

"What? You know we're be celebrating your birthday so why not take medicine?" She ruined my mood. 

I had problems at home and I thought Lucy can make me calm but shade my head throbs too. 

"Sorry," she said. 

Because it's her special day, I let it slide. 

We were about to blow her candle when the door creaked open. 

Our eyes widened to see Eloisa in an open door. 

Lucy POV

I wanted to tell Kent about the real result from the clinic but I am afraid to tell him. Call me to fool and stupid but I can't help it. I love him. Maybe, after we left the villa, I will tell him that I am two weeks pregnant. 

I rolled my naked body to check on him beside me. He's still sleeping and even he's asleep, he still looks hot and manly. I took his arms and rest on them. 

I caress his face and stared at him for five seconds. I just want to remember his face because I don't know when we are going to hide this barred relationship of ours. I don't know if he will still love me once he finds out that he's going to have a baby with her. Kent was using a condom after our first night together. I can't believe that in that one night, a living will form. 

I startled when his phone rings. I tried to wake him but he's not moving. He's in his deep sleep so I decided to take a look at it. I check his pocket and I found it. 

My hands trembled and my body froze when I saw an image on his contact. He's my other half is calling at him and their picture appeared on it. The phone almost slipped on her hand but she manages to catch it. 

"Eloisa?" She murmured while looking at Kent who was still sleeping. 

"Eloisa was his sick wife?" Lucy felt a thick hot moist forming in the brink of her eyes until it became tears. 

Her world shattered in just a second. She can't believe what she just confirmed. How can he be so sweet and smiled in front of me?
