Alexia's POV

"I have work to do. I'll find you when I'm done." Calvin kissed me. "This is for you."

"Why did you give it to me again?" I'm surprised when I held the ring in my hand.

"Keep it for me!"

"This, didn't you say it is important?" I asked nervously.

"It is very important. It's actually a keepsake from our Smith family. Grandpa gave it to me." Calvin said softly, "Remember, no one must ever see it, and don't tell anyone where this ring came from."

"That, that's too important! I, I can't-" Hearing that it was a keepsake from the Smith family, I suddenly felt that the ring was hot.

"It's fine. Just keep it!" Calvin pressed it into my hand, his eyes deep.

In fact, Calvin didn't tell me that he gave me a ring back because he is worried that Kevin Smith would really cause trouble. If something like that happened, the ring could save my life.
