Chapter ５６

I smiled and shook my head. "I think what you said is very reasonable. You have always been very persuasive. I just didn't understand why you decided to marry me and spend your life with me, a lifetime is a long time. After all, I don’t really look too pleasing to the eye." 

He calmly, hooked his lips. "Because I think you are simple, and they say the more simple the better, I really think you suit me well." 

I gave him a smile, picked up the knife and fork again, and continued to eat. "Then can we talk about it now? When we grow old, how about we come here to relax and talk about our life?"

I looked into the distance and said after a few minutes, "I prefer falling leaves to return to their roots if I cannot find a good mate. But if there is, this is an excellent option."

"Don’t you think that I’m the right person?" 

I looked down and smiled, without making a sound.

"I don't think so." He said unhappily, making me      lose the mood  to eat.
