Chapter 69

"Nine o'clock."

"Not even a minute late. Did you hear that?"

I smiled again and said, "I heard it, I heard it."

After I hung up the phone, I nested in the cot again, and soon fell asleep again.

After work in the afternoon, I went to buy a reception for Lockie and came to the Sky Club.

This club was run by Lockie's second uncle. When I came to the club, Lockie had already arrived.

Seeing me, Lockie came up and gave me a big hug. "Girl, my little sister, I missed you so much."

I patted him on the back. "I don't think you want to die. You want to die? Let go, if not, I will strangle you."

He felt the pain, coughed twice, and let go of me. "Hey, I haven't seen you for a few months, but your strength is still so great."

I glanced at him and sat down with a smile. "I told you, if we fight, I can still beat you."

"I don't think Uncle Samuel gave birth to a daughter. You had sex change surgery before you were three years old."

I stared at him. "You really want to die then."
