Chapter 84

Afra took me straight to the Plum Court kitchen, where one handles the fish and the other picks the coriander.

It took only over an hour for two steamed fish to come out of the pot.

Afra wants to share the fruits of her labor with her great grandfather and great grandmother. So I brought the fish to the main hall of the Plum Court.

Grandma smiled for a while, looked up at me and said, "Don't pay attention to your grandfather, your grandfather is just like this, like a child, and his temper will come off eventually."

"But I think Grandpa seems to be angry because I caught fish in the lake. Is there a rule at home that fishing in the lake is not allowed?"
