Chapter ２０: MAKING UP
Bella’s POV
I ran deeper into the forest, following the familiar trail where the silvery, sparkling waterfall gushed out of the rocky terrain in its full glory and let nature’s elements calm me down as I felt my cheeks get warm and tears roll down incessantly.
I never cried after my parents’ death.
Then why was I now ?
Why did it hurt so bad ?
The cool, watery evening breeze hit my face, causing the stray tears on my cheeks to cool the fuck down and sting my skin while the sun started to set low, coloring the sky in beautiful shades of purple and orange.
I loosened my hair and tossed away my back pack with little to no care about the world or the things it contained.
Everything was about living in the present now.
I unbuttoned the top two buttons of my shirt and tucked it out of my skirt as I walked towards the edge of the rock which was just above the roaring waterfall.
The music of the playful waters filled the air while I moved my hands in a graceful, circular arch over my head with one leg of mine trying to reach the sky as I effortlessly did a vertical split.
On beat of the next lot of rapids that gushed out, I swayed my way through the soul calming dance and let myself loose as I hopped from one rock to another over the waterfall and twirled and turned around, oblivious of my surroundings.
Soon I started to withdraw to a world of mine own and the pain started to subside away as I immersed myself in the world of raw, fiery and free expression.
My worries disappeared by the second as I glided my way over the dangerous rocks like the water flowing freely beneath me and I was soon in a world of my own, leaving behind the sad, restrained and harsh reality that I was living in.

Dominic’s POV
My heart clenched as I saw the flawless beauty in front of us dance like there was no tomorrow, however her ever graceful moves warmed the heart at the same time too.
“That’s so dangerous but so enchanting”, Kai dreamily said as we watched the unconventional performance spellbound together.
“Hmmm”, I hummed as I pulled Kai closer to me while I wrapped an arm around his lean waist.
Kai too reciprocated as he snuggled fondly in my embrace and wrapped his arms around my torso.
“She will tire out herself”, he worriedly stated while nuzzling deeper into my chest while my palms automatically landed on his smooth, baby soft cheeks.
“I know baby. We will get her back before that”, I solemnly promised as I kissed my mate’s temple.

Bella’s POV
“Leave me the fuck alone”, I hollered as Dominic held me firmly to his chest while Kai looked over us worriedly.
I was currently struggling to get free from the asshole’s unbelievably strong arms as he nestled me in his lap and himself leaned back against a tree with Kai by our side.
“I am sorry, baby. I did not know you would get so upset. I did not want to go public because I never popped the question explicitly to you and I felt it would be unfair to you to get tied to me without your permission”, Dominic softly said while tenderly tucking back a stray strand of hair behind my ear. “I want to fucking scream out to the world that you mean everything to me but I was not sure if you felt the same for me and I did not want to pressurize you”, he sadly mumbled.
Oh !
He was only protecting me.
He liked me afterall !!
Now I feel like a bitch.
Fuck !
“I am sorry too”, I apologized with a lowered gaze. “I overreacted”, I mumbled and was immediately indulged in a fond and tender kiss by the man who held me.
However the chaste kiss switched to a wild and hungry one in a matter of seconds and soon we were in an intensely heated make out session.
“I can watch you two like that all day”, Kai chuckled as we breathlessly parted away finally.
“Such an adorable voyeur”, Dominic fondly teased before pulling Kai by his collar and smashing his lips on Kai’s.
“Pervert”, Kai taunted back and comfortably settled behind me on Dominic’s lap who chuckled as he focused back his attention to me.
“So where did you learn those moves, baby girl ?”, Dominic asked while Kai hugged me from behind and let his lips go astray all over my neck and shoulder.
“Umm I don’t know”, I shrugged. Couldn’t tell them that it just came naturally to me as a Royal Lycan now, could I ? “I just do this to go with the flow whenever I feet like it. You can say that it helps me forget my sorrows and worries or allows me express my joy with all the elements around me since I never had anyone to share anything before”, I sighed and two pairs of arms suddenly tightened their hold on me possessively.
“That was before, baby”, Kai softly said as he moved my chin gently towards him and pecked my lips lovingly. “You have us now. We will take care of you and be there for you …. always”, he rasped and captured my parted lips with his.
“Alright love birds. Time to go back”, Dominic said. “But before we go, Bella Diaz, will you be our girlfriend ?”, he proposed and my hands slapped on my mouth in shock. “We want to date you, take care of you, love you like never before and make you our princess”, he tenderly said while taking my hand in his. “Stay with us ?”, he nervously asked.
He finally popped the question !!!
It was a little mean but being the brat that I was, I simply shrugged and said, “I don’t know” and immediately Dominic’s face fell. Awww I wanna kiss away those sad lines on his face.
I really felt like bursting out laughing but I held it back somehow and added, “Guess it is going to be hard to say ….”, I trailed off while Dominic nervously gulped, his hand squeezing mine really hard involuntarily. “ …. to say no to that interesting proposal”, I chuckled and then firmly said, “Yes. Yes. Yes. I would love to be your girlfriend”, I laughed while Dominic breathed out in relief before turning to me with a mischievous glint in his eye and making me squeal as he tickled me profusely.
“Those were like the scariest moments of my life, Ms Bella Diaz and you found it amusing to fuck with my nervous heart and wrecked mind ? You are so gonna pay for it, baby”, Dominic dramatically said in a deeper voice while making those creepy gestures with his fingers.
However, we both stilled when he heard a fake cough from the person whom we almost forgot.
“Oh shit I forgot. Kai babe ? Will you be our boyfriend ?”, Dominic asked and immediately after shrieked an “Owwww !!!”
“You asshole ! You said you two wanted to make me your girlfriend !! You did that without asking him ?”, I incredulously asked the asshole in front of me.
“Ummm yeah ?”, Dominic answered while scratching his head and he looked nowhere sorry about it.
Ughh.
Jerk.
The cocky bastard instantly vaporized my fury by smashing his lips with mine. However, his hooded eyes continued to swarm behind me and I am sure Kai was getting turned on behind me as I could feel his hard wood poking me from behind.
“I thought I should get you first coz the teach is a complicated, little minx”, Dominic smirked while looking at Kai with a heavy and intense stare and captured back my lips.
“Yes”, Kai softly murmured making Dominic suddenly perk up.
“What ?”, Dominic asked in disbelief.
“YES”, Kai repeated louder and firmer than last time. “I wanna be your and Bella’s boyfriend”, he elaborated and after that nothing could stop us from showering kisses and all our love on each other.
The saga had begun.
The saga of eternal love.
Love that was deep and fulfilling.
