“Seconds !”, I yelled for the umpteenth time and even the bartender looked at me worriedly before hesitantly serving from what seemed like a new bottle after I had already finished one complete one, all by myself.


If as a Lycan, I was a lightweight, then as a pure human I was worse and I was so close to making the bar my bed for the entire night.


“Seconds !”, I shouted after downing the burning liquid down my throat which felt like water now.


The bartender wearily eyed me but served another glass anyways.


With alcohol controlling my mind and movements by now, the slow motion of my hand was beaten by another quicker and sober one and hence, my shot was stolen from right under my nose.


A frown was quick to appear on my face like credits after a movie, and I tried to turn around to see the alcohol thief but the world spun around me faster as my dizzy mind and clouded vision could not keep pace with my anger.
