Freya's life was one that many girls have dreamed of. The kind that people wrote novels about. “Hello, Dad? We have a problem. That vampire that was at Freya's house has just been into the pool house. She's also just let me know, that he was at the graduation too.” There was a pause then he continued. “I don't know, Dad. I didn't see him there. I guess he must have gotten into the house through the back door. Probably while we were out the front fighting.” 


He paused again while his dad spoke. He was too far away for me to hear what Aiden was saying. I just sat on the couch silently watching Tristan pace up and down the kitchen.


“What I do wanna know is, how the hell did the bastard get past our borders undetected? This is the second one now, and it's only been a couple of weeks,” he shouted at his dad, while he held the phone with his shoulder and started making two cups of coffee.
