Freya's life was one that many girls have dreamed of. The kind that people wrote novels about. I knew exactly what was going to happen. Dread flooded my senses because I knew Tristan was about to be killed. I ascended as quickly as I could and sprinted towards them. Vampires intercepted me and snatched at my arms I didn't know how many of them were holding me back, but I was guessing five or more, because I couldn't move at all. I knew if it was only two or three of them, I would have been able to throw them off of me easily.
