Freya's life was one that many girls have dreamed of. The kind that people wrote novels about. That's the only reason why you miss the old Freya, because I was a weak and fragile human being. It made you feel like more of a man. I don't think I can stay with you, Tristan. You can't protect me or our future pups. Hell, you can't even protect yourself!” I screamed at him with tears running down my face.


His eyes welled up too. He looked shocked and heartbroken. He screwed his face up in anger again and growled at me,


“Fine if that's what you want, Freya, I'll do just that! I'll go and be with Amber. Will that make you happy?”


My heart sank as I watched him shift and run off into the trees after her.
