Chapter 154

“Please stop!” I yelled at my wolf inside my head.

She whimpered before falling silent. I felt bad for snapping at her, but now wasn't the time to go hunting. I heard Finn whimper behind me when I continued towards the door.

“It's okay, Finn, I'm here, remember?” I said reassuringly through our mind link.

He didn't reply, he just hung his head back down and sighed. I entered the building with Finn following close behind me. Mason was standing in front of a cell waiting for us. It was made of glass and had bars all around it. He held his hand towards the cell instructing me to enter. I nodded and proceeded into the cell, before turning around and waiting for Finn to follow me in. He crept up to the doorway, then froze, looking up at me with pleading eyes.

“It's okay Finn. Just come in, it won't be for long, I promise,” I said as convincingly as I could.
