Chapter 200

She stood there licking my blood off of her fingers. It was truly disgusting and made my stomach turn, but I had to let the small things go while I got my breath back and thought of my next move. I bent over and gasped, sucking in copious amounts of much needed air into my deflated lungs. I held one finger up to indicate to her to give me a second. She huffed and folded her arms while tapping her foot again. Patience clearly wasn't her strong suit. Once I'd gasped, coughed and spluttered enough, I stood back up to face her. It was still surreal seeing Freya's face staring back at me, but I had to ignore the resemblance and figure out what to tell her. The woman definitely wasn't the kind and sweet-hearted Freya that I knew and loved. That woman was her murderous, twisted and sadistic aunt Kali.

“She left me,” I said sadly, trying to put enough emotion in it to sound convincing.
