“I promise,” I replied, even though I didn't know for sure if I could keep that promise.

“Well, the spell this warlock has to do to cloak Freya, it's a powerful spell, but it won't just cloak her from Azael. It will also cloak her from any other supernatural being that has ever had a romantic encounter with her. Selene organized the meeting with the warlock months ago, she was sure that Freya would have slept with Azael,” he rambled off his speech but half of it didn't sink in.

“What does that mean exactly?” I asked him in confusion.

“Well, it means that anyone from the supernatural world that has slept with Freya, won't see her, feel her, hear her or even remember that she exists. Basically, she will be wiped from our memory completely,” he lowered his head and stared at the floor.

“What!? No, we can't let her do this, Ev we have to stop her!” I screamed out at him.
