So, you will treat me as your equal, or so help me God, you will die alongside, Azael!” I said in a deep and angry voice as I scowled at her with the dirtiest look I could muster.

She gulped and nodded her head, she clearly knew how powerful I was about to become, and that made me feel good. Her son Marik growled at me and went to lunge for me, so I clicked my fingers and ignited the palm of my hand. A fireball formed in the middle of my hand and began spinning and turning as electrical bolts swam around inside it. I glared at him and the side of my mouth curled up into a smirk. He instantly sat back in his chair and said,

“Well shit, no one told me that she was a Phoenix.”

His brother Traian sniggered and replied,
