Chapter 9 - CS:GO part 2 (Rewritten)

-Emily's POV-

"Cover me"

"Throwing a grenade"

Currently we were under fire, it has been a few rounds since the game started, and this is crazy. I already died a few times while learning and it feels so real. When I died for the first time I really thought I was dead, until I noticed that I was floating behind Mike and had the option to change between following Mike or following Bob.

And when the round ended and I came back to life I was relieved to found out that I'm not a ghost. After all, who wants to be a ghost? You can't do anything other than fly around and go through walls.

[Bot Adrian killed Lightsword]

"Mike is dead!!"

At the moment we were cornered inside upper tunnel.

There were people blocking all of our exits, and the bomb was planted in B.

"Bob, let's rush B" I whispered to Bob so the people won't hear it.

"Got it, I will throw an incendiary grenade on the tunnel stairs"

After that Bob threw an incendiary grenade and we rushed into B while getting shot by the sniper, luckily we didn't get hit by the bullets and were able to leave the tunnel and even kill the sniper.

[I love alcohol killed Bot Adrian]

"One down" I heard Bob shout.

It was now 2v2 and we just need to defuse the bomb to win.

"Emily, go defuse the bomb, I will hold them off"

"Be careful"

After that I ran fast to the bomb and started defusing it, even though I had no knowledge of how to defuse bombs, my body moved on its own to defuse it like it has done it thousands of times.

[90%]

'Come on, faster'

[Bot Derek killed I love alcohol]

'Damn it'

[60%]

'Faster!!' I could hear the sound of foot steps behind me.

[40%]

'Almost'

*Bang*

They started shooting at me, but I couldn't give up. And just as I was about to die.

[ 0% ]

And then everything turned black.

-Tony's POV-

"They finally won it seems"

While the trio were playing I was watching them from my pc on the counter.

'This is more entertaining than sport shows on earth, though I never was really a fan of them'

While watching them I wasn't idle, I was testing my new ability.

[Ability: Eyes of aura]

[Usage: Toggle]

[It allows you to see auras]

It has a pretty vague description. I tried it on the bodies of those guys and it allows me to see a aura around them, it is different from each other in power, color and how it feels and moves.

Bob's felt like a stone wall, while Mike's was calm but I could also feel a storm inside it being held back.

As for Emily, her's was the strongest of the three, it was like a cat, trying to get everywhere and explore the whole place, it just keeps wondering around.

I wanted to know if it does more so I asked G,M,S.

"What more can this eye do?"

[Nothing]

"Huh?!"

I cleaned my ears with my finger thinking that it might have interfered with my hearing and asked again.

"What other things can this eye do?"

[Nothing, you already have perfect control over it. All this eye does is show you the auras of others, through it you can see how strong someone is and their nature through how their aura acts, looks and feels to you]

"That's it?"

[Yep]

'Damn'

Although this is a very useful ability, I can't help but be sad. After all, I was hoping to shoot beams from my eyes or something. It is disappointing, but at least it is still good.

While playing with it, more time passed and something appeared in my vision that made me extremely happy.

I finally have a skill that can be used for attacking!!

Since my soul is fused with a tiny part of G,M,S's power it means my soul should be very powerful to survive.

[Correct, your soul is now at an almost unmatched level. But that doesn't mean you can use all of that power right now]

"Why?"

[You need to rank the skill up, and you can't do it yet]

"What's with this bullshit power capping? I was so happy and now I'm just depressed"

As the saying goes. "The higher the expectation, the greater the disappointment."

[You don't have to be sad. Even if you can't use all of it, you can still lift some water cups, you will never have to walk to get water again]

"I really want to punch you"

The system is really getting on my nerves, even when it is on auto mode the system is making fun of me.

"What about when it is at the highest rank?"

I was really curious so I asked.

[That's a secret for now]

*Sigh* "You know what? I'm not even mad about it, I won't let something like this ruin my mood"

-Meanwhile standing a few meters away-

"Why is he talking to himself?"

"I don't know, but it's pretty creepy with that voice of his and the fast change in emotions"

"Let's just forget this ever happened and go back into CS:GO"

""Agreed""

And so the three walked back to their respective computers and logged into CS:GO to never speak of that creepy moment ever again.
