Chapter 50 (meeting him again)

Ellie made her way into the woods. Seeing that she had succeeded in leaving the palace completely, she let out a sigh of relief as she threw her hands in the air out of excitement. But then she wondered what must have happened to Alma as she left - she waved the thought at the back of her mind because she figured that Alma would handle it just as she had always done. She was the head maiden after all.

 She looked around her new surrounding - it wasn't like she hadn't been there before but somehow she missed it, especially the incident with the tiger - a sense of pride enveloped her because she was able to survive it; not like she achieved it on her own, she was saved by the strange man who she was about to meet. Speaking about the strange man, she looked at the jacket which she held in her hands and could only ask herself one question; was he really going to come? Well, she wouldn't know until she got there so she continued towards the path leading to where she met Nathan.
