A series of seemingly endless exams exhausted me worse than any training and past cramming. Due to the fact that I took exams immediately for the second and third year, I sometimes had to take three or four exams a day, many of which were completely practical. So, one day I had to take exams in physical and combat training, and the next day I had to show my skills in folding seals and controlling the chakra.

At the same time, many teachers with special zeal tried to fill me up… Considering me either an upstart, or an ordinary crook. Because of this, it was especially difficult to take some subjects, but the mental pressure on me was very, very decent. And I still wasn't completely sure about my knowledge of some subjects. Although, as a result, my grades turned out to be more than impressive, I somehow abruptly turned into an extremely strong good guy.

Which was already enough for the transition to the fourth year... especially since I actually learned most of the curriculum for the second and third year in a month and a half. Of course, my past visits to the library were not in vain for me, I could say that I already knew some subjects, but still ... the amount of information that I was able to memorize in such a short period of time shocked most of the teachers familiar with me.

Iruka began to think of me as a real genius anyway… Which, though flattering, but the grades for the same combat training said somewhat the opposite. Yes, in the end I got my "four" calmly, but even so, my own training was not enough to pass the combat training exam perfectly. In the next half of the year, I will have to put a lot of pressure on practical subjects if I want to continue jumping through classes at the same pace.

Well, that's what, to be honest, I was waiting for. Moreover, in the fourth year there were quite a lot of subjects tied specifically to the use of the chakra. And combat training classes acquire a completely new color… After all, it is from the fourth year at the academy that sparring between students begins. And the combat training classes themselves are becoming more and more diverse.

Well, that's how Iruka explained the situation to me, that even on vacation he wasn't going to let me down. But if earlier the teacher was more worried about my theoretical knowledge, now the situation has changed somewhat. Starting from the fourth year, there are fewer and fewer theoretical subjects, while there are more and more practical classes. And even though Iruka himself no longer doubts my abilities, he did not have much faith that I could continue to run ahead of the academy program through my own efforts alone.

Therefore, a few weeks of vacation, which had promised to be at least some kind of break in my training marathon, turned into a full-fledged "training camp" alone with Iruka-sensei. Yes, the man really took his duties as my supervisor seriously, taking up my training during his own vacation… Because of this, however, I lost the opportunity to catch my breath, but it's certainly a sin for me to complain.

Moreover, Iruka-sensei did not just carry his title of Chunin. Yes, as a shinobi, he was not the strongest, which he directly informed me about, but in terms of basic knowledge and techniques, he was a real pro. Not just like that, he managed to become a teacher at the Ninja Academy… And his cool leadership over the best class of this generation says something. Iruka had more than enough skills, and he was able to present the material well. And this already makes a very good teacher out of that, which I managed to fully convince myself of during the two weeks of vacation.

The results of the training sessions arranged for me were noticeable even with an unarmed eye. And even though my merit in these results was more than enough, I still spent almost half a day training, but the way Iruga competently reorganized my own workouts was somewhat surprising. And in general, the man helped me very well with the basics of the same Taijitsu and Kenjutsu. Under his supervision, my training was much more effective, and I myself began to understand these ninja arts much more deeply.

And I'm not even mentioning the fact that Iruka did not hesitate to become my sparring partner for a while, helping me to master the skills that I had previously been almost a dead weight in my training... At the same time, which was especially pleasing, despite the abundance of training sparring, during our training I was so and he didn't get any serious injuries. The maximum is light bruises and sprains that healed on me in a matter of hours and consider that they did not interfere with my training in any way…

Yeah, just glad to get such a coach at your personal disposal it was worth agreeing to this whole adventure with an early graduation from the academy. But Iruka promised me to continue to study with me, even if he shifted the time of our training later in the evening ... Which is generally understandable, still he has his own affairs at the academy, not to mention the fact that I can do training in chakra control myself. In this regard, Iruka could not help me much, because I had not yet grown up to more complex control training, and otherwise the teacher's advice was not so useful for me.

As practice has shown, it's not for nothing that a few months ago I visited the academy library almost daily. In terms of basic control techniques and their understanding, I have progressed very far, which is why the same Iruka could not help me in any way in this field right now. Moreover, the man's own chakra reserve was already inferior to my own, and therefore he himself had never encountered my problems before…

And yes, over the last two weeks spent almost under the personal guidance of my sensei, I got to know this person quite well ... well, that is, I knew him before, but only in the role of my teacher. During the same two weeks of training, I managed to get to know Iruka also as a person. He himself seemed to have decided to open up to me a little, mentioning his past quite often and citing his own experience as an example.… Although perhaps this is just part of Iruka's learning style… Well, it doesn't matter.

The main thing is that I managed to understand my current teacher quite well, having learned, at the same time, from what kind of fright he decided to do my training so closely at all… Although, in this regard, everything turned out to be quite banal – Iruka wanted to win the respect of his colleagues and just other shinobi by bringing up at least a few "geniuses" during his career as a teacher. Well, I became an ideal candidate for the role of this "genius". Moreover, officially I was a simple clan-free orphan with a decent amount of chakra…

There were no clans behind me, other teachers were not particularly interested in my training… From the outside, I seemed like a completely ordinary student, and therefore, if in the future I become famous as a strong enough shinobi, well, or even just become a Junin in adolescence, part of my own fame will certainly go to Iruka, as a person who helped me realize my own potential… In this world, this is the order of things, some of the glory of the students will certainly go to their teachers.

The third Hokage is the most striking example of this, because if it weren't for the fame of the same Jirai and Tsunade, he most likely lost his Hokage hat a long time ago… So yes, the success of "personal" students has a strong impact on the career and reputation of the teacher himself. Which I personally didn't mind at all. If Iruka-sensei gets at least some benefit from my training, it's very, very good. Additional motivation for my teacher will definitely not hurt, especially since I have already decided to extract all kinds of knowledge from that and just benefit for my development.

And in general, my respect for Iruka was already enough for me to agree to become a walking advertisement for that ... Still, his help at the moment was quite difficult to overestimate. Without the help of a fairly experienced teacher and Shinobi, I would not have reached some points in my skills for a long time. And the sparring partner from Iruka, again, came out just perfect. He not only helps me improve my own skills, but also does not cause unnecessary injuries to me, thereby allowing my body to develop without all sorts of problems…

About the fact that Iruka almost on a regular basis began to treat me to Ichiraku, I am already generally silent…
